It took most of what Hani had to not shrink back as Roscoe circled them, and as he stood close to her. Her expression grew grave as he spoke, and she stood very still, barely willing to breathe. She didn’t doubt that he would hurt her. She really didn’t need to encourage him. The last thing she wanted to do was give Roscoe the satisfaction of knowing that he scared her.
"Dangerous words to be saying when you have nothing short of a weakling to come to your aid." Hani’s spine crawled as Roscoe spoke. His tone was dangerously low. "Alex seems to have forgotten that the only unwanted person showing their face here happens to be him. If you are to pick a side, my dear, may I suggest you pick the winning one for your own safety."
Involuntarily she took a half step towards Alex. Hani really didn’t want to be here, in a situation like this. If she did stay, could she really make a difference in any fight? Hani didn’t know whether it was worth breaking a limb or two, or even dying. She didn’t trust herself to speak, afraid that her voice would fail on her. Instead she glared at Roscoe, her mouth pulled into a frown.
"You have to wonder how many splinters short of a plank of wood these two are, don't you Rohjyx?" Her stomach nearly turned as she imagined a plank of wood making contact with her or Alex, the sick sound of crunching flesh and bone. She cringed mentally, squinting her eyes slightly, perhaps a taste of what was to come.
The pair that opposed them was definitely sadistic. Hani’s eyes flickered to Rohjyx as he spoke his response, but quickly returned to Roscoe. As Rohjyx continued to speak her hatred quickly grew for him. While Roscoe was threatening, Rohjyx was far more frightening. His words were like vinegar, pouring over an open wound.
Hani savoured the small moment of satisfaction as Alex threw the broken phone toward Roscoe, praying on its impact, and held her breathe as he launched his fist towards Rohjyx. She waited, stunned, unsure of what to do.

“She’s already made her decision, Roscoe. You really didn’t do much to help convince her otherwise. Being a stuck-up prick doesn’t exactly scream ‘join the Asses!’, although it’s a pretty accurate description.” Rohjyx's eyes flashed slightly, only mildly insulted by Alex's snide remark towards his Guild. He was more annoyed that the fox would say that about his Guild than he was about being called an ass; he was one and he fully knew it. "A little worm like her? What use would she be? If she's too stupid to keep herself safe than she is most certainly too stupid to be of any use to us." Roscoe retorted smoothly, shooting an evil smirk at his Leader. Rohjyx sent a smirk back, nodding his head in approval.
"Say, Alex..." Rohjyx could guess what Roscoe's next words would be by the sinister leer he raked over Hani's body. "How easy do you think it would be for me to break this poor, foolish little thing into pieces?" The Assassin's leader snorted in amusement as Roscoe paused dramatically then continued. "I imagine she'd be the sort whose bones would make a lovely snapping sound. Should we test the theory?" Rohjyx knew from the look in Alex's eyes that he might not really be listening to what Roscoe was saying. His eyes watched Alex as the teen glared hatefully at him, so full of rage that he was calm. Of course that was only going to last so long. The panther Shifter smirked darkly and had to wonder; how long could the little red fox hold out for?
Not very long apparently as, with a powerful jerk of his arm the younger male was flinging the crushed phone in his hand at Roscoe, who quickly blocked it with his forearm. Rohjyx barely had time to notice Roscoe smirking darkly at Hani, advancing on her, before Alex was lunging for him with a fist aimed directly at his face. For a moment, Rohjyx thought about dodging the fist before deciding that it would be better if he just allowed to blow to hit and Alex to get overconfident.
With a knowing smirk on his face, Rohjyx held still for a second longer before wham! - Alex's fist made contact with his cheek, forcing his head to the side swiftly. Leisurely, as if Alex had simply slapped him, Rohjyx slid his hands out of his pockets and his right foot back slightly, just to give his returning hit more power, and turned his head to smirk evilly at his opponent. Then suddenly, his right hand - balled into a loose fist - was moving, his hips twisting, right heel flaring, and then the familiar feel of soft human flesh meeting his fist just as he tightened his hand, making it a solid mass. Rohjyx, digging his fist deep into Alex's gut, looked over his body and his smirk grew as he watched Hani duck past Roscoe - who had apparently lunged at her - and bolt for the exit to the cemetery.
Sneering down at Alex, he mockingly said, "Now what are you going to do, Alex? You're all alone in Assassin territory with the two highest ranking Assassins in all of Shelpey." Removing his fist from the teens stomach, Rohjyx stepped back smoothly, his right foot sliding back behind his left again as he took up his all-too-familiar fighting stance. Ice eyes locked on his opponent, Rohjyx lifted his fist to a loose guard.

Trinell smiled warmly down at Andrei as they made their way past the cemetery at a leisurely pace, headed for home and a warm bowl of soup. They had been out all day, playing and just having a good time, and had easily lost track of time. Now, as they made their way home in the dark, they laughed and joked about the forms that the shadows made. "Hey, hey! Look at that one! It looks like a person!" Andrei snickered, pointing into the cemetery entrance where a shadow shaped like a human was making a mad dash out of there.
Eyes widening in surprise, Trinell pulled Andrei behind her and slid her legs apart, widening her stance and balancing her weight better in case of an attack. However, an attack wasn't coming and the shadow - who Trinell could now see was a girl - gasped a terrified, "Assassins! Alex! Run!" and darted away, putting as much distance between herself and whatever was in the cemetery as possible. Watching her go, Trinell played the moment back and listened to what the girl said again. Something about Assassins and Alex.
Trinell gasped, eyes wide, and looked down at Andrei suddenly. "Andrei, love, I need you to run to DJ as fast as you can and tell him Thieves are needed at the cemetery, and fast!" She said urgently, already looking over his small form into the darkness of the cemetery. What was happening? How much trouble was Alex in? And why, why, why had that girl run out on Alex?! He needed all the help he could get if he was facing off to the Assassins! Who knew who he was facing up against?!
Pushing Andrei in the direction of their apartment complex, Trinell urged him along with a firm, "Go!" And then he was off, and Trinell bolted in the general direction the girl had run from. A grimace darkened her face and she put an extra burst of speed on. Hopefully she wouldn't be too late.
At the sound of a painfully familiar - and vehemently loathed - voice, Trinell veered sharply right and exploded into a clearing in which Alex, Rohjyx, and Roscoe stood. "Alex!" She instantly noticed Rohjyx's fighting stance and Alex's thoroughly incensed look and immediately took a step for them before she really noticed Roscoe and his injured arm. She glanced between Alex and Roscoe before scowling and angling her body towards him, her limbs already in their frequently-used and well-practiced positions. She glared darkly at him and fought the urge to go help Alex, knowing that he would want to fight Rohjyx himself. Tightly, she said, "More Thieves will be here soon, Alex." before focusing on Roscoe. She sneered at him, single visible eye hard emerald. "Well, if it isn't Rohjyx's little puppy Roscoe. How are you doing, pup? Listening to your master like a good little doggy?" She mocked, growling. She kept her eyes locked on his form, watching for the slightest twitch of muscle that would tell her what he was going to do.

Tenma was minding his own business, walking along the dark streets in his human form, grudgingly wearing a black tank top, when a kid slammed into his knees. He stopped and looked down at the kid without much emotion, and noticed that it was Andrei, Trinell's kid. Tenma didn't pay much heed to this, and simply walked around him, glancing over his shoulder to see him barrel away. What Tenma cared about at that moment was the fact that Trinell's overprotected kid was running full-speed from something. Trinell watched that kid like a hawk, and Tenma knew it. So either some Assassin was getting their ass handed to them for messing with the wrong kid, or someone was chasing him. The minutes passed and no one passed Tenma as he walked, so he guessed the first. This didn't effect his pace at all, as he continued his slow strides toward nowhere.
As he began to pass the cemetery however, a few scents managed to reach him. An unknown girl's scent, Trinell's smell, Another Thief's, Rohjyx's and Roscoe's. That perked his attention well enough. If there was going to be a gang confrontation, he was going to be in it. And he only just then realized that Andrei was probably off to get back up for the Thieves, since they couldn't take on the two leading Assassin's alone. Tenma didn't care about this face, that child could do what he wanted; He was confident that the Assassins would be the Thieves even if they brought in Reinforcements. He could always get more Assassins together anyway though, couldn't he?
He walked calmly through the darkness, closing in on the shapes that he saw. He recognized Rohjyx's shape first out of all of them, since out of all the people Tenma knew, he knew Rohjyx longest. Then there was Trinell, whom he'd come to know by Rohjyx's dislike of her. After that was Roscoe, the second who he'd never met in person but knew because of his association with Rohjyx.
He said nothing, simply walking up to stand behind Rohjyx and Roscoe, looking on at the Thieves with cold, emotionless eyes. He didn't just hate them, he nothing'd them. He literally felt nothing for the Thieves, under the situation at present anyway.
He waited, no orders to attack given. He would fight when he was told, or when he was attack- but for the moment, he loomed behind them as a sort of back up, should they need it.

The bear shifter was walking at a naturally swift pace, given his height of 6’10 he covered ground easily. A warm night breeze brushed against his loosely fohawk styled hair shaded in mahogany, and he ran a hand through it and pushed it back. He was a rather new addition here to Shelpey, having arrived a little over a week ago, but already he had joined the Guild known as the Thieves. He didn’t regret his decision; in fact he was quickly forming a sort of protectiveness and pride towards its members. He was dressed casually in dark faded jeans and a charcoal grey button down cotton shift tucked into his jeans. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and his working boot clad feet hit the concrete with each purposeful step he made. In his front pockets he carried only his wallet, keys, multipurpose tool, and a folding knife hooked to his belt. He didn’t expect any trouble, and should there ever be any, well, he could more than handle himself. Nonetheless, he also carried a Betetta 85FS Cheetah holstered by his ankle and hidden by his jeans and even his boot.
In his stroll he had unknowingly came closer and closer to the Graveyard. He knew this was Assassin territory, but hey, it wasn’t like they knew him as a Thief on sight. He glanced around him, honey amber eyes scrutinizing the environment and people around him. He just caught rushed "Go!” and the figure of a kid sprinting off to his left, and that was enough to make his brows furrow in confusion. Immediately his gaze darted towards where he must’ve come from, his body moving forward more into the open so he would get a better view. What he saw only intensified the confusion, but its not like he let it show on his features. The woman too was sprinting, but there was just something off about the whole thing. Why run with that much urgency to the Graveyard of all places? It just didn’t sit well with him, and that’s when he got one of his gut feelings.
“Ah hell, why not?”
[/b] He breathed and then set off at a hurried pace straight for the graveyard. He broke into a jog soon after, covering even more ground quicker. Was it paranoia? Or was it something else? He decided to cut a shortcut and instead of going for the gate he simply jumped over the lowest part of the fence. He landed in a crouch, senses on hyper alert. His head snapped to the side where not too far off there was a clearing. “Alex!” Funny how that was the same name as his Guild Leader, coincidence? Alain wasn’t one for coincidences. His handsomely rough face was a mask of calm and focus, and finally he broke into the clearing and took in the sight before him. In front of him he only recognized Alex and…what was her name? Trinell? He thought it was Trinell. He had never officially met her before. He noticed the fighting stances and tension in the air, the injured arm of one of the men, and of the last male standing at the ready behind what appeared to be his Leader. Within the same seconds it took him to analyze the situation he realized that he might just be Rohjyx, Leader of the Assassins. His own Leader was hurt, and not in a very good position. "More Thieves will be here soon, Alex.--Well, if it isn't Rohjyx's little puppy Roscoe. How are you doing, pup? Listening to your master like a good little doggy?" Trinnel growled, and the sound only made the bear shifter tense, ready. He had come from Alex’s other side, but not quite flanking him. Whereas Alex and Rohjyx stood face-to-face, Alain was more face-to-sides to them, stopping a few feet from the two guys facing off. Ah, so this is a guild fight, quite the situation then. He thought to himself. Well at least it was even now, with 3 from each gang. The finely chiseled features of the man were hard set, with only a sardonic smirk on his lips and his honey amber eyes blazing with what was sure to come. Blood had already been drawn, blows already made, yeah this shitstorm was only just beginning. His eyes shifted from Alex to Trinell, trying to convey that he was indeed one of the reinforcements she had sent. ”Well ya got one here.”[/b] He replied in his gruff but smooth baritone. He was a rather intimidating figure, standing at 6’10 with a hard-trained muscled build that even bordered overly so. He was easiest the bulkiest out of the 6, but when you’ve lived you’re entire life as a Wrestler, well, his speed and maneuverability weren’t inhibited in the least. His own stance fell loosely into defense, but he wouldn’t initiate the attack here first. He would have no problem snapping into action should anyone try to make a move against Alex- him being the closest to Alain- or anyone making a move towards himself. Hell, he would go after the first Assassin to make any hostile action towards his fellow guild members. Pup or no, he should’ve known better than to go after Alex of all people.[/b] Without his intention, he put in a double meaning to his words, one that had the potential to raise question about the Doberman Shifter. But its turned into a shitstorm nonetheless.[/b] He finished, his smirk aimed directly for the assassins, not helping his ‘ass-hole’ nature from coming to the surface and clearly showing in his smoldering gaze. {923 words Alain Muse: ehhs Notes: Finally got Alain into this, don't know if it's too early though. I'll try to get up some ref pics of his build in case anyone's wonderin'}[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Up in a high branch in a tree, curled up in all her scaly glory was none other than Tiffany. The graveyard was one of her favorite places to crash. So dainty, cold, and gloomy. Just right. She flicked out her forked touch back and forth, catching a familiar few scents. 'Hm...Smells like fun's going to break out here soon.' She was told a meeting for the assassins was to be held here today, but was never informed of the time. So she decided to take a nap up in a tree, losing track of the time.
She slithered her way down the tree, curling up onto the ground below. As the last of her tail, making up the end of the eighteen feet of body, reached the mass of coiled scales, she began shifting back. She flipped her waist length black silky hair behind her out of her face.
"Guess it's time to look for everyone else than." She breathed as she made her way through the uncared for, uncut grass that reached up to a few inches above her ankle. Her bright green eyes reflected what little moonlight made its way through the trees, making it seem as if they were glowing in the never ending darkness of the night.
She reached into one of the pockets of her black pleather tank top, pulling out her beloved butterfly knife. She twirled it about, making it look like child's play. Her thigh high black pleather skirt twirled about slightly with each step she took, coming closer and closer to the scene unfolding nearby. She slowed to a stop as she came to some brush a ways back behind where Rohjyx and Roscoe stood. A devious smile slid across her face as she saw Alex standing across from them, fury engulfing his very aura.
"Wow, Rohjyx. You must of said something bad to of gotten the leader of those crappy little thieves all riled up like that." She whispered to herself under her breath. She wasn't about to step in unless more thieves showed up or Rohjyx informed her to do so. She knew if anyone was going to take Alex down, Rohjyx was going to be that person.
"Hm...Roscoe's here too. Must have either missed the meeting or came right as it ended and something else started." She said in a non-chalat tone. She stayed kneeled down behind the brush, watching in interest to see what else was going to happen. "This is gonna be good. Wish I had some popcorn..." She giggled, still staying as quiet as possible.
(Hope you guys don't mind me popping in with Tiffany. :3 Saw other people posting so I thought it'd be okay.)
