"Milk is fine." Djakael nodded and set his glass down. He snatched up the jug and poured Chase's glass, then, after putting the cap back on the milk, put it away in the fridge. He laughed when he turned back around an found Chase sitting at the table, his legs swinging beneath his chair, a grin plastered on his face and his eyes twinkling. He looked like a big little kid.
Still laughing, he scooped up their drinks before setting them down at their respecetive places on the table before pulling out his chair and sliding smoothly into it. "If it smells so delicious, Chase, maybe you should eat? I promise you it's not poisoned." As if to prove his point, he took a big bite of his food, chewed it, and then swallowed. "See? Still standing! Err, sitting, I mean." He chuckled, shaking his head.
He didn't know what had done it, why he was in such a good mood. Maybe it was Chase? After all, he had fought tooth-and-nail to keep him where he would be warm and safe at night. And he succeded, at that! But that couldn't possibly be the only reason for all his joy, could it? Was it his recent lack of company that made Djakael so overjoyed to have him there with him? 'I don't know, he thought lightly, shaking his head and returning to eating. He paused after a moment to drink some of his milk, his eyes returning to Chase's forest ones. He smiled brightly at him, sky blue eyes warm and happy. "How do you like the food?" He asked, his smile still on his face.
OOC|| I made this as long as I could without any control over Chase, Stephy xD

Chase reached out a pale pink hand, and grabbed the nice cool glass of milk as it was set in front of him, pulling it closer to himself, and stareing down at the food before him. His mouth watered as it took it all in. "If it smells so delicious Chase, Maybe you should eat it? I promise you it's not poisoned." The playful look on Dj's face made him squirm happily, He reached down and took a sip of his ice cold milk and he watched as he overly dramatised taking a bite. He almost spit out his Milk as he forced away a small giggle. "See? Still Standing! Er.. Sitting mean." He put his glass of milk back down, and cracked a large grin.
It was felt so good to Smile again. He gingerly reached down and grabbed his fork and night, delicately cutting a small piece of his eggs and watching what was still soft of the yolk ooze out on his plate. His eyes sparkled, and he scooped it up and chewed. Mmmm.. It was soo gooooood. Dj was such an excellent cook, but then again he hadn't eatten a real meal in many long years.
He looked up and smiled at Dj, who had paused and was watching him try not to wolf {Ooc;; Lolol. Sorry bad pun ;3} down his meal and be polite. Their eyes met for a second and his cheeks flashed a delicate shade of pink. Man, I must be really sick. He mused, not thinking any farther of his reactions around the man. "How do you like the food?" Warm smiling understated the feeling of happyness in the room shared by the two.
"It's wonderful!" His welcoming eyes inocent, not a guarded look lay within them. Safety, he felt so secure around Dj, like no matter what he did everything would be Okay in the end. He hadn't had a feeling like this in years, some of the emotions he had never experienced before either. He sighed happily, taking another larger piece of his eggs and stuffing it in his mouth. I'm so glad I met him. He looked into his plate for a short moment, thinking about everything that had happened.
He looked up again at Dj, his grin seemingly permenently on his face. "Thanks, Dj." He focused on his breakfast again.

Djakael grinned widely to himself as Chase tried not to laugh, tried to keep from spitting his milk out. It turned into a pout for a split second as Chase didn't, actually, spit his milk out. Then his grin returned and he picked up his fork and started eating again.
He watched Chase's reaction to his food, a look of pure bliss, and smiled slightly, shaking his head somewhat. The poor boy was deprived, at the very least. To not have had a normal breakfast meal in this long? Yeah, definately deprived.
Djakael took a quick swig of his milk as Chase did his best not to devour his food in just a few bites. Probably for the sake of being polite. Djakael scoffed mentally at that. If you're hungry, eat. If you're not, don't. Simple as that.
When pink colored Chase's pale cheeks as their eyes met, Djakael thought nothing of it. So he's an easy blusher, big deal. Djakael had been as well back when he was still in middle school and the first years of high school. He happily asked what Chase thought of the food, the boy smiling happily.
"It's wonderful!" He exclaimed, Djakael laughing and nodding. That was always a good reaction, always. He looked back at Chase to thank him, pausing for a moment to decipher the emotions in his eyes. Happiness, trust, security, and a few others that he couldn't figure out. Trinell probably can, he thought dismissively. He returned his attention to Chase. He was saying something.
"Thanks, Dj." Djakael blinked. Then he smiled softly at Chase, eyes gentle. Why had it surprised him? He had known, however unconsciously, that Chase would thank him sooner or later. Why be shocked?
He shook his head at himself, still smiling, before lifting his head up and saying, "You're welcome, Chase." just as the oven timer went off. His smile turned into a lopsided grin and he got up saying, "Biscuts are done!"
He loved biscuts, he'd admit it. Next to the bacon, the biscuts were his favorite part of breakfast. They just tasted so good, especially with eggs and bacon inside and the yolk soaked up into the bread. That was always so good. He often ate breakfast slow just to savor the mouthwateringly delicious taste.
Grabbing the spatula he had used to cook the eggs, he opened the oven door and, using it, pulled the biscuts out. They were a perfect golden brown color and looked delicious. He ignored the blast of smothering heat almost exploding from the oven and hitting him square in the face. Djakael's grin grew simply because he now had his biscuts.
"How many do you want, Chase?" He asked, pulling three of the six off the aluminum foil and dropping them on his plate. He took a quick bite of one of his biscuts, swallowed, then downed some more milk before going back over to the counter where he had placed the biscuts.

The loud buzzing of the oven timer across the room made him jerk his head upward, Dj nearly jumped from his chair to rushed towards it. Waves of heat reverberated from the oven as the stainless steel door was opened, revealing delicious golden brown biscuits. His mouth watered at the sight, and when the doughy savory scent wafted towards him it was almost enough to knock him out.
"How many do you want, Chase?" Dj quickly snagged three of them off the worn baking sheet, taking a bite of one downing it with a quick gulp of milk. ALL OF THEM. "I'll take a two, thank you." He smiled politely, Taking the last bite of his food that lay before him on his plate, pushing it to the edge of the table and folding his hands against his stomach, squirming in his chair happily. An odd reaction, but everything was so nostalgic.
"So What are we doing today?" Head tilted to the side slightly, before quickly regaining his composure, realizing exactly how childish he must have looked. He took a breath, Wait, should I have asked that? What if Dj wasn't planning on doing anything With him at all? After all he'd only offered him a sheltered place to stay, he was probably overstaying his welcome in the first place. He bit his lip absentmindedly.

"I'll take two, thank you." Said Chase, his empty plate pushed away from him and his hands folded neatly over his stomach. He nodded and picked off two more, dropping them calmly onto Chase's plate once he was back at the table. It only took four steps with his long legs.
Sliding smoothly into his seat, he took a bite of his already-bitten-into biscut and thought about Chase's question. What would they do today? He thought for a moment, then blinked.
Wait.
Chase had said he wanted to stay, right? If so, then he would need a room. There was no way Djakael would allow him to sleep on the couch, no matter how comfortable it was. 'And, boy, is it comfy. He thought, amused by it.
"Well, since you're going to be staying with me we need to get a room cleaned out for you." He stated, taking a small bit out of his biscut as he leaned back in his chair, perfectly relaxed, and stared up at the higher part of the wall. It was a silver-gray color that he had chosen and painted when he moved in. It matched with the black granite counter. He had repainted the entire appartment, having despised the hideously bland off-white color they had used.
He blinked, coming back to reality. Shaking his head quickly, he added, "I used the second room as a painting room, but my bedroom is big enough to fit all of my stuff and still have plenty of room to move around." He smirked, sky eyes twinkling. "Oh, the beauty of having the master bedroom in the master suite." He laughed, grinning at Chase widely.
"Anyways! So, we'll clean it out and move everything into my room then go out to the mall and get some stuff for you to decorate it with. And don't you even try to tell me no about buying the stuff. It's partially a selfish desire. I'd lose my mind if your room was empty when it could be decorated even slightly." He said, staring Chase firmly in the eyes as he said the last bit. "It's just the artist in me. I hate bland things." He added nonchalantly.
Relaxing back into his chair - he had leaned forward as he spoke to Chase - he went back to his biscuts, calmly eating. He had a small smile on his lips.

Chase Finished up his food hastily as he listened to Dj speak, savoring the taste of everything as it disapeared off his plate, bringing a satisfied full feeling he wasn't used to. He blinked across as Dj as he spoke, nodding slowly before making a remark back. "Oh no," He shook his head quickly. "It's so nice of you to offer me a place to stay, I'm happy with whatever you give me."
He smiled sweetly, his grin soft against his features. Am I letting my guard down too much? He slumped back in his chair after a moment, his hands playing with a fold in his pocket. All morning.. He was acting so childish. I'm not a kid anymore, But it feels so much like home. Home, such a comforting thought that it seemed numbing in itself.
Happiness wasn't something to run away from anymore though, he realized that. Not when he was with his new friend. He promised to keep me in control. He smiled mentally at the thought but almost frowned right back at it. Was it too much to ask? Time would tell he guessed, focusing on Dj once again, his soft smile still on his lips.
"Are there others like us?" He blinked slowly. Where had that question come from? He supposed it'd been on the tip of his tongue for some time. His fingers fumbled with the smooth folds of his pocket, honestly the night before had been tugging at the back of his mind for some time. He forced back the sickening feeling from losing control, The cat.. Amber, wasn't it? She had spoken about Guilds, and people but.. He couldn't remember most of it. It all seemed a blur, ever since the words 'Or you'll be trapped forever.'.
"The whole wolf thing.. I still don't fully understand, it still.." He trailed off slowly, his eyes averting away and looking down at his hands in his lap. It still scared him and he was ashamed to admit it, even though he shouldn't after everything that had happened, everything that Dj had seen him go through. He couldn't be afraid, he had to be the strong one. He always had. He helped Others, they didn't help him, Why would he want others to waste time on him, Risk them getting close? But was that changing now? His thoughts and feelings felt conflicted with everything new that had happened.
It wasn't like him to second geuss himself like this, doubt, he was more mature then this. But maybe it'd all just been locked away until now, maybe Dj was the key..

Djakael watched as Chase smiled softly, shaking his head. "Oh no," He started. "It's so nice of you to offer me a place to stay, I'm happy with whatever you give me." He said. Djakael grinned a wide grin, happy, and leaned back in his chair, enjoying the comfortable silence.
"Are there others like us?" Asked Chase suddenly. Djakael blinked, clueless for a moment. Huh? Then he knew what Chase was talking about. Shifters. Of course. "The whole wolf thing... I still don't fully understand, it still..." He trailed off, Djakael smiling and sitting up in his chair. He leaned forward slightly, his elbows posting on the table to hold him up.
"There are a great deal of people like us here. It's like a gold mine of Shifters," He said calmly. "I know another wolf Shifter, if you'd like to meet her. Her name is Trinell and she's the one who teaches me MMA." He added, blinking as his doorbell rang. "Hm? Wonder who that is?"
Getting up from the table, he called, "Coming!" towards the front door and said, "One moment please, Chase." over his shoulder to Chase. Walking out of the kitchen, he headed for the door. Reaching it, he pulled it open and blinked as he saw Trinell standing there, looking bored but excited at the same time. She had her music blaring as usual.
"Trinell?!" He gasped, shocked. She turned back to him, grinning from ear to ear, and danced past him into his home. She had been here so many times she could walk throug the whole place blindfolded and half-asleep and still not hit anything.
She started for the kitchen, having smelt the food. She wasn't hungry, but she liked the smells."Yo! What's up Dj? I haven't..." She trailed off as she stopped in front of the kitchen, having spotted Chase. A sly smirk took over her wide grin, and she turned back to face Djakael. "Well, well, Dj! I knew you had it in you somewhere, but I didn't know you'd find it this fast." She teased him, Djakael blushing and punching her arm.
"Shut it, Trinell!" He barked, cheeks still flushed. "That's my friend, Chase. He's moving in with me. He's a Shifter, like us." He glared at her, embarassed. "Anyways, what are you doing here? You haven't been around in a while." After this was said, his glare dropped and his blush faded away, leaving a curious look on his face. He tilted his head ever so slightly to the side.
Trinell laughed and walked into the kitchen, up to Chase. She was still listening to Djakael, but she wanted to introduce herself to his new companion. "Yo! I'm Trinell. It's nice to know this loser over here has finally found someone who'll live in his house with him. Now I don't have to worry about him so much." She winked. "Take care of him for me? Thanks." She smiled brightly and took Djakael's chair. "I got bored and I wanted a fight, is that too much to ask for? Besides, you're overdue for a few lessons." She said, answering his question. Djakael nodded in understanding.
"Oh! Wait! What is your Shifted form, Chase? I'm a wolf! I haven't found any other wolves yet, so I'm looking for one pretty hard." She said, grinning sheepishly. A light chuckle breezed through her lips as Djakael took a seat in between the two, his long legs stretched out towards Trinell and his back slightly to Chase.
OOC||: HOLY CRAP!! Dx That took my SO FREAKIN' LONG to type!! xD Stephy, I hope you're happy with this! xD Chase has now met Trinell, the crazy wolf herself! lololol x3

"Alright." Chase called out, snapping his head upwards when the doorbell had rung and watching Dj disapear around the corner. So many people he'd run into the last couple days, He wasn't used to being so social. The muffled sounds of voices came to his sensitive ears, and he realized it was a girl as they became louder coming towards the kitchen.
She stopped at the arch way into the kitchen, her rather tall feminine appearance kind of caught Chase off guard. She had this aura of confidence around her, her mouth turning to a grin at the sight of him. He blinked at her as she turned to Dj, Trying to figure out who this girl could be. His girlfriend? He dismissed the thought almost as soon as he heard her speak.
"Well, well, Dj! I knew you had it in you somewhere, but I didn't know you'd find it this fast!" The blush on Dj's cheeks was unmistakable as he punched her arm in mock anger. What's she talking about? (Ah, inocence is bliss.) At least as far as he could tell they weren't together. But who was she? "Shut it, Trinell!" Ah, well that explains it. He slouched in his chair a bit as he stared accross at them.
"Yo, I'm Trinell!" She walked up to him quite suddenly without warning, seemingly ignoring the flustered looking Dj behind her. He sent a small warm smile to her as she spoke, She deffinately has an interesting personality. He laughed inwardly to himself as she spoke. "Now I don't have to worry about him so much." She sent a small wink his way, obviously she was implying something. "Take care of him for me? Thanks." She replied before he had a chance to open his mouth to speak for himself. Dj still seemed stuck behind her as she took the seat he'd been sitting in previous and stared accross the table at him.
Chase mused at the younger women's speach as her and Dj exchanged a few words. She was so outgoing, but there was something about her he couldn't quite place. Looking into her eyes.. They were so much like his. Not only their shade and depth, but the things hidden in those depths. He supressed an urge to give her a really long warm hug.
"Oh! Wait! What is your Shifted form, Chase?" Her words came out so quickly, and in what seemed to be typical Trinell fasion, spoke before he had the chance to. His warm smile turned into a small type of grin. It amused him. "I'm a Wolf! I haven't found any other wolves yet, so I'm looking for one pretty hard." Her own grin flashed back at him, and he noted Dj sitting and looking at her as well, from a neutral position between the two.
"Well," He breathes after a moment, coming out like a sigh as he leaned back in his chair again, his black stained red locks falling in front of his face before taking a hand and brushing them back a bit from his soft Forest eyes. "Actally.. I'm a wolf too." It was so odd talking about it, after all he'd just admitted he didn't fully even understand it. "I geuss your search is over." He added, his eyes darting to Dj for a moment before going back to Trinell.

Trinell gaped for a moment then leapt to her feet, pumping the air with her fist, and let out a whoop of excitement. "Sweeet!!" She exclaimed, completely leaping over Djakael's legs to crouch on the balls of her feet next to Chase. She bounced excitedly, her hands gripping the side of Chase's seat. "Can I see? Can I see? Can I seeeeee?" She begged, still bouncing. "Pleeeeeassse? I'll show you my form!" She added, shifting so suddenly that even Djakael was surprised.
"Trinell! Calm down, damn! You're gonna give the poor guy a heart attack." He barked, grabbing the scruff of her neck and pulling her back, away from Chase. The poor guy. "I'm sorry, Chase. I think someone put crack in her coffee." He apologized, sighing. Then he turned back to Trinell, blinking when he saw her about to close her jowls on his forearm, a look of mischievous concentration in her eyes and drawn back lips. Her canines just lightly pricked his skin and he jerked his arm out of her mouth, releasing her in the process.
Trinell instantly leapt to her paws and dashedaround to the other side of Chase crying, "Sweet freedom! I'm free!"
She collapsed, falling to her belly, and laughed uncontrollably, feeling safe to do so while Chase was before her.
