"How have you been?" The priest asked as Sephira, clad in a silk black, short sleeved, knee high dress, walked into the cemetery through the gate, her silky blond hair flowing with the breezes. She decided to let her hair down today. "I've been okay. How are you, Father?" She asked as he placed his arm over her shoulder and walked with her down the path through the cemetery to the old, run down half. "Couldn't be better! The church is doing really good these days. The number of attendants has doubled over the past year." He said with a smile.
"That's good." She replied back, half smiling herself. She held up a small bouquet of red roses to show the priest, "Do you think she'll like them? You told me a while back that she liked these best so I figured I'd get her some this visit."
He leaned over and sniffed them and then straightened back up, "Oh my yes. They smell freshly picked as well. Did you buy them at a flower shop?"
"No, I've been growing them at home." She stated as she brought them back down in front of her. As soon as they reached the edge of the first half of the cemetery they both stopped. The priest turned to her and smiled, "Well, I must get back to the church. Please give your mother my regards."
She smiled and nodded back to him as he turned around and began walking back waving behind him. She waved back and continued on towards her mother's grave.
Upon reaching her grave, she kneeled down infront of it, placing the roses in front of the gravestone, and bowed her head, "Hello mom." She lifted her head back up and looked at the stone, "Nice to see you again. Dad still hasn't written me back since I sent that letter a few months ago. Maybe he forgot about me... Oh well, I made some really good tips last week. I used some of the money to buy some fruits and berries for the bats that gather in the trees outside at night. This one bat really likes me, but I told him it would never work out because I'm human too. Hey mom, if you were still here and you knew what I was, would you still love me? Maybe dad knew and doesn't like me anymore..." She shook her head as if to try and make herself feel better.
She got up and looked down at the roses with a smile, "Sorry I can't stay long today mom, but I promise to come visit again next year. Thanks for listening like you always do." And with that she turned and began to walk off, knowing it wasn't all that safe to walk around this area. It was part of the Assassin's territory after all.

Dare had spent the night in the Cemetery, laying in a dip by the far end of the cemetery, a few trees helping in keeping him hidden as well as the many tomb stones and statues. He had found an area large enough to fit comfortably in, well as comfortable as a Tigard his size could. He pushed 12 feet in length, and stood a little over 4 feet at the shoulder, his strong Siberian heritage the cause of it. The long, unkempt grass had given way under his form, it was the closest thing to a bed he would have here. He had shifted maybe 6 hours ago, his time as human having ran out.
He awoke finally, lifting his proud head and opening his royal blue eyes lazily. He rose, stretching out his body and muscles, polished black claws gripping the earth. His jaws parted in a massive yawn, ivory teeth glinting in the light, a soft growl escaping. His teeth clicked together emptily and he gave a quick shake of his head. He took a moment to pay attention to his surroundings, rounded ears swiveling to better catch the sounds around him, ebon nose flaring to catch any and all scents. He heard the church guy, his title beneath him to remember, but he shrugged it off. The man had no reason to come to this part of the cemetery and if he did then Dare could either shift or kill him.
The Maltese Tiger gave another curious sniff of the air, tail curling before flicking out behind him absently. Yes Dare was what was known as Maltese, a genetic gene triggering his abnormal fur color. The blue tinged fur carried smoky hints, the two colors making him appear a fair balance of both blue and grey, but his stripes were still the characteristic obsidian. It was then a new sound accompanied with a foreign scent, intruded his senses. Platinum tuft flicked mischievously, back to his full attention and ready to begin his day. He lowered his head level with his back, falling into a predatory prowl as he made his way from his little den area and through the tombstones and memorial statues. His steps were naturally quiet, mostly due to the large pads of his paws and then the fur acting as a further silencer. Once he cleared through the older part of the cemetery, he paused behind another statue, striking feline gaze scanning for the woman. He could hear her more clearly now, and rounding another row he finally saw her. She looked like any other human, and yet there was still something different about her. He crouched, lowering his body close to the ground.
"Hello mom.- Nice to see you again. Maybe dad knew and doesn't like me anymore...- Sorry I can't stay long today mom, but I promise to come visit again next year. Thanks for listening like you always do."
At first it was rather disappointing to hear what would be considered common between a loved one and their departed, and so he was prepared to shift back into a human and go see what else the day had in store for him. That was until she started to speak of…bats? How odd, bats liking her? The conversation took an intriguing turn, and so D’Alerian remained where he was. So she was a shifter, and a bat one at that. She turned to leave, and that was when D’Alerian leapt from his crouched position. He cleared over a few head stones, a menacing snarl rang out, and he landed lightly in her path. He was still a good distance in front of her. He rose to his full height, piercing royal blues analyzing her with a quick one over look. His feline features contorted into an amused smirk, his tail lashing behind him. He moved towards her until he was maybe 3-4 yards in front of her. And then he shifted as well.
Taking place of the beast was the man, standing at 6’8 and freshly 22 years old. His near shoulder- length dark brown hair framing his face, falling loose by his ears. He hadn’t shaved since last morning, so he once again had a bit of stubble adding to his wild edge. He was in a pair of black basketball shorts, reaching his knees and a simple black t-shirt that fit close but comfortable to his well built and athletically muscled form. He had a military combat knife in his pocket and a 10 mm Glock 20 strapped behind his right hip, loaded with a full magazine of 15 rounds. His royal blue eyes flashed darkly, a devious smirk playing on his full lips. He knew she was not an assassin, so that only left Loner or Thief. “Why hello there Miss,” he began, strolling towards the woman. Dare was naturally an intimidating figure, and he wouldn’t blame her for running away after seeing him as a tiger or swooning for him. “I am D’Alerian, who might you be?” He was being polite, but he was also assessing the situation with a smoldering gaze and a scheming wit. Would she lie and name herself an assassin? Or try to play off the Loner, or better yet be bold enough to admit her position in the opposing guild. He paused a few feet from her. “And proud assassin.” He added in, eyes locking with hers to watch any reaction. Yeah he totally acted as if he hadn't just shifted in front of her, and the knowing gleam in his eyes told her that he ahd heard her little conversation with her mother.

As Sephira made her way down the path, she was stopped as a giant maltese tiger jumped out into the path a ways down. He wasn't hard to miss, and it was apparent he didn't want her to miss him either. As he made his way closer, a bit of shock crossed her face as she watched him shift into a tall, somewhat intimidating, young man. 'Where did he come from?' She thought to herself, not taking her eyes off of him for even a moment.
"Why Hello there miss," She watched, not moving, as he began to walk towards her. She kept a straight face, trying to figure out what he was up to, "I am D’Alerian, who might you be?"
"My name is Sephira." She replied back, trying not to seem intimidated, but not trying to sound rude at the same time. She was getting ready to walk towards him to show she wasn't afraid until he said it...
"And proud assassin."
At that moment, she knew he had overheard her conversation with her mother and figured it out. She winced, knowing full and well the possible outcome of this encounter. "So, you know than." She said with a bit of disappointment evident in her voice. "It seems I can't even come to pay respects to my mother anymore without running into trouble. And here I was thinking I was doing good at avoiding other people, let alone other shifters." She wasn't about to tell him she was with the thieves, that was like asking for a fight. But, she knew assassins aren't ones to just let you walk away either.
She stood there for a moment and then held her arms out openly to him, "Fine. I know what your up to. I won't start a fight, but I know you won't just let me go either. So what do you want?" She finally spat out at him after noticing the gun. She already knew if she tried to fly away he'd probably shoot her down. And in her human form, she wouldn't be able to outrun him in either his human or shifted form. She was stuck...
