Dean sputtered into the parking lot, his rusty WWII Jeep wheezing its way in between a couple of white lines. He popped the clutch and the old battle-tank gave a gamely lurch before settling down with a relieved sigh. Dean looked over the steering wheel and prepared to wince. Good, he breathed a little easier, no smoke today. He grabbed his worn messenger bag, and headed towards his new school, slapping the hood for luck on the way past.
He wasn't sure what to expect, it was his senior year after all and wouldn't be at the place for long. But how knew how the rest of the year could show for him?
For no particular reason, from behind him came a loud bang, followed by the tell tell smell of burnt oil. Dean's head sagged, his shoulders slumped and with a sigh he turned to find the tail pipe of his jeep secreting thick black smoke. The parking lot's inhabitants, which just happened to be most of the school, were staring at Dean and his car-turned-chimney.
"That's not an omen. The beast is always making noise...*sigh*...Tomorrow I'm flying" And with that, he headed into the school, eyes burrowing into his leather coat behind him.

"Dude, you seriously need to get a better car. It's dying." Isis chortled at the boy's messed up Jeep. She glanced at it with a contempt look, almost as if it was too crappy to look at. Well, in truth it was. "And since the piece of shit is so old, you shouldn't have slapped the hood. Might as well take it to the junkyard." Isis added. Her brown hair whipped across her face, as the wind picked up. Her flowery blouse billowed like a mast, along with her denim Capri. She leaned against a maple tree branch, arms folded in a badass and somewhat spohiticated manner.
"That's not an omen. The beast is always making noise...*sigh*...Tomorrow I'm flying"
"Lazy bum. Look at me. I'm an equine and I don't gallop to school everyday just because I'm having trouble with my CAR."
Isis snorted at the new kid. She had never seen him before. Walking towards the entrance of the school, she opened the door, holding it wide open. "Ladies first, I suppose?" she mocked at the boy.

FUCK! Really? That just happened?!
Dean was getting really sloppy lately. He had to backtrack, NOW. Even if-and it was a big if- the bitchy girl was a shifter, he still didn't want to announce it to the world.
"I...I said tomorrow I'm DYING. Because, you know, my car is probably done for and I'll have to walk." Cause, thats what normal people do dumbass, walk to school when their cars break.
Dean walked up to the door, and completely ignoring her opening the door, grabbed the handle of the one next to her. "And the Beast does what it needs to. And it's MY car, so watch it." Dean was usually very respectful to women, but this one had A)Pissed him off by insulting the beast, and B) Scared the shit out of him but eavesdropping.
"Do you make a habit of insulting strangers or is this a special occasion?" He looked back out at the parking lot,(the Jeep was still smoking. But no fire, so all was safe-ish)"Or is everyone in this town as hospitable as you?"

Isis made a fake gagging sound, saying within it, "Ugh, loser." She gave the boy a wayward glance. Backing up on her attitude, she said, "Excuse me, sir. My name is Isis. Nice to meet you. What is your name?" Isis can be mean when she wants to be but she can also be polite when she wants to be.
"I...I said tomorrow I'm DYING. Because, you know, my car is probably done for and I'll have to walk." The boy spat a retort back at Isis. She chuckled to herself. "It's no use trying to hide what you said. I already know. Just be lucky I'm not the kind of gal that screams everything she hears."
Isis glanced both sides, checking to see if there was anyone watching them. When she was sure no one else was in the parking lot, she bent down. In moments, Isis was gone. In her place stood a majestic horse. She reared up and whinnied at the top of her lungs. The voice carried out over the school and several students passing by in the front hall stopped and watched in utter shock. Was there actually a horse i front of their school? Isis quickly picked up an extended canter and disappeared behind the school. Moments later, she poked her head back and nickered at the boy, beckoning him to follow along.
OOC: hehe. I was bored so I just had fun writing this post.

Was everyone in this fucking town crazy? Or am I the only one who doesn't flaunt my Shifting like a god damn prom queen?!Dean stood there stupidly as Isis shifted and reared up, a long whinny erupting from her throat. When she leaned over from the corner in her human form once more and beckoned him over, Dean couldn't help but hesitate. Him and his mind had some arguing to do. One: This girl was obviously nuts. Two: She shifted not just in public, but in the freaking doorway to the freaking school! Three: She somehow could tell that you are a shifter, so she's got you pinned on that. Four: Count the number of times ANY girl has beckoned you over. Oh, trusty libido. Always forgoing trite things like secrecy and survival. It's enough to make me want to stay as a hawk, at least they didn't have to deal with crazy teenage girls. But, despite his terrible feeling to the contrary (member withstanding) Dean sighed and walked over, his short temper reaching it's breaking point. After they were relatively out of sight, he turned and got well within reach. " Don't you EVER do that again. You may be willing to announce to the world that you can turn into a fucking pony, but I'm happy with no one poking into my business. Comprende? Or do I have to spell it out for you?" Dean was not one to be pushed, man or woman. Chivalry only went so far, and this little girl had pushed Dean three miles in about three minuets. (OCC: Man, Dean is really usually very courteous to women. honestly. you should feel accomplished )

Guys remember, it's common sense for any and every shifter to not show their abilities publicly. It doesn't matter about their personality or not, they would not just shift at random in the middle of the school parking lot. No matter how you write it, realistically, someone would see that. I'm not asking you to change it, but I don't want to see it happening again. Remember, we strive towards quality. I like seeing conversations between your character, however I don't want to see your posts begin to be all dialogue and thought without detail.

OOC: Dean: yush i'm very happy =D @mocha: er..... sorry i was kinda dozing off a bit. wasn't thinking properly. Isis looked at Dean and shifted back. Her eyes glinted with annoyance. "Yes. I can COMPREHEND what you are saying." Isis looked at him straight in the eye, her tone serious. "But look," Isis said, in a softer tone, reaching her hand out to grasp Dean's shoulder, but stopped mid-way and stuffed it in her pocket. "My parents both died from a fucking idiot's bombing while they were researching about the Rosetta Stone in a museum. I was going to go but was sick with the flu and had to stay home. They never came home. Ever again." Isis bowed her head down, tears slowly rolling down her flushed cheeks. This memory still pains her, even if she IS a badass girl. She has her soft spots. "It's not easy being alone, at this school with everyone looking forward to seeing their parents when you don't even have one living anymore. Sometimes I wish I could stay shifted forever, but I think staying human is a better choice." Isis sat down in the dray grass, her back against the rough brick wall. "I'm sorry if I ever 'burst your bubble', but I have to speak out the truth. If only I had when my parents went to the museum, then maybe they'd still be alive...." Isis bowed her head down once more, hand over her face, trying to stifle her own tears. The wind picked up again, billowing through her blouse like a mast again. She glanced up, looking at Dean with a sort of longing kind of gaze and stood up, this time leaning against the side of the school's brick exterior. The rough surface made imprints on her hand and lower neck/upper back. She wiped off some imaginary dust off her pants to cover up her tears now falling to the ground. They glistened in the sun as it reflected the light. From where Isis was standing, she could see the blinding sun's disc and around it a few rings of the rainbow. They hurt her green yes. Isis's black hair soon began to mess up in the breeze, as t was tangled and a bit mangled in appearance. Chuckling to herself, she began to finger through the jungle of hair, in a vain attempt to smooth it out. "I bet he thinks I'm a complete idiot. God, Isis why are you such a fucking bastard?" Isis thought bitterly to herself. Her watch beeped consistently. Isis checked the time, while hastily washing off her tears. "It's time for school to start. You wanna go?"

Mind you, Isis is still shifted, Dean won't understand anything she says. You imply that she's already changed back, but you'd have to write that out. And remember: more detail and description, less dialogue. I noticed that more than half of your post is all dialogue. You also say Isis sits down next to a wall in the grass. Where are they? I know nothing about the surroundings or details. What is she thinking as she talks? She's talking about her horrible past, yet no emotion? I'd appreciate if you edited your post a little bit, if only to mention she shifts back (but adding detail and description is highly encouraged).

OhOhSea:// Isis said it was cool if I posted here real quick. You can just ignore this postie here, and I'll maybe delete it later ^_^
Mreh, my post is a bit scattered-brain, but whatever ^_^
Oh, yeah. I also can't roleplay with this character, Ashley because she's a normal human and because she's not an accepted character. But when I asked Toki, she said it was fine if I made one post with a human ^_^
BeeEyeSea:// Ashley waved goodbye to her mom as the older woman pulled away in a blue jeep. The slender girl tucked a strand of brown hair behind her ear, and ran up the school steps to greet her friends at the top. They always met each other before school started like this, it had started years before, when they all went to elementary school together. Ashley joined in the excited hubbub of talk and giggling as one of the incredibly gorgeous seniors walked by. The senior flashed the gaggle of girls a quick grin and a wink, and they all swooned - Ashley included.
"Ashley~!" exclaimed Ashley's friend, Marigold, "I SWEAR, he was looking RIGHT AT YOU when he winked!!!" "That's ridiculous," Ashley replied, blush rising on her cheeks. "He has a girlfriend, Pamela, remember?" "Girlfriends and boyfriends can be broken up if the boyfriend has the right incentive~!" Ashley rolled her eyes. She wasn't devious enough to try and break up a couple - Marigold on the other hand? That girl was a master schemer. Marigold could literally talk her way out of any situation, and often did. Marigold was also incredibly smart and lazy. She always got good grades, more because Mari wasn't afraid to suck up to the teachers to get them.
Ashley's train of thought was broken as a loud bang echoed through the parking lot. "What was that?" asked Tammy, another childhood friend of Ashley. "Oooo, maybe it was a gun~!" Marigold bounced up excitedly, head full of blond curls bouncing along. "It was probably just a car backfiring," replied Ashley sensibly. A growing cloud of smoke rose from the back of a beat-up army jeep. "See?" "Party pooper" Mari grumbled as she playfully shoved Ashley's shoulder. "Oooo, he's kinda cute Mari." piped up Tammy. Ashley and Marigold glanced over their respective shoulders. "He's alright I guess. Not nearly as cute as John though!" Marigold responded. Ashley rolled her eyes. Marigold changed her crush weekly - no doubt this new guy was going to get hit by the Marigold love train fairly soon.
The warning bell for school rang, and all three girls jumped up from where they had been leaning against the railing. "See you after class~!" Tammy and Marigold called out in unison as they ran to their class. Ashley merely nodded and walked through the school doors, casting a shy glance back at the boy who's car had backfired. He really was cute. Ashley had never seen him before, neither had Marigold or Tammy, so she was guessing he was a new student. Her lips tweaked down as an attractive girl with glistening black hair started to talk to the boy. Figures he would be snatched up right away. Realizing she was staring, Ashley turned away from the two before either of them noticed she had been watching.
She continued to watch the two from the corner of her eye as she leaned over to get some water from a nearby water fountain. Ashley grinned in spite of herself as the guy spurned the open door the girl held, and opened another door for himself. It was interesting to see how people interacted, especially two people she had never talked to before. Making up her mind, Ashley straightened and started walking the direction of the two. She was going to introduce herself to the girl and the boy - the worst they could do was be incredibly rude to Ash, and the brown-haired girl didn't really care if they did that.
She was half way to the door when the black haired girl glanced around the parking lot in a suspicious manner. Halting, Ashley's jaw dropped as the girl turned into a horse, a freakin' horse, right before her eyes! 'WHAT. THE. FUCK? Did that girl seriously just turn into a freakin' horse? Or am I hallucinating. Did I have too much coffee this morning? Maybe my brother snuck some alcohol into my coffee' Ashley's head spun. She reached up to push her side bangs back with a trembling hand. 'No. I'm going insane. I bet I'm going to get locked up in one of those creepy mental institutions where they run all sorts of illegal tests on the mentally insane. Good lord.' Ashley watched the horse gallop down the steps and disappear from her sight in a daze. 'Okay. Wait. No. They can't lock me up if they don't know I saw something. That's what I'll do.' She blinked and rubbed her eyes, glad that the horse was gone. But wait a second, what about the guy?
Ashley stared at the guy, waiting for his reaction. If he was totally stunned like she was, then Ashley wasn't insane. If he wasn't totally stunned - well. Let's hope they had good food in asylums.
The guy stood there dumbfounded for a moment and then ran off after the horse. 'Great. I'm a fucking lunatic. I wonder how long it'll before I'll start seeing unicorns and griffins.' The final bell rang, signaling that Ashley was now late for class. 'Fuck. I need more sleep.' Ashley slowly made her way to class in a daze, mind still unable to process what she had just seen.
