The moon hung over Felix's head as though it was on a string. The clouds drifted lazily in front of it, black shadows on the surface blocking the light, before drifting away again. It wasn't chilly out, tonight was actually fairly decent. It was warm enough that under his sweater Felix was wearing his wife beater rather then a turtleneck.
Shaking subtly, as he always did, Felix strolled through the streets, sunglasses firmly over his unnerving pale blue eyes. He deftly avoided the street lamps, after years of doing so it was second nature to him. It made him swerve comically on and off the sidewalk, though the look on his face was anything but comical.
Felix had woken up early today, to the sounds of horns outside his window. There had been an accident, he had found out later, at the time he'd been too afraid to even take a peek outside. It had been almost 2 hours before his usual time of waking and had left him unable to sleep, even once the wreck had been cleaned up. Now his mood was a stormier one.
With his anger boiling over, he could feel his speed increasing. Without thinking about Felix began to run. He ran around the lights, the same way he had when walking. He ran for four blocks straight before stopping on a corner. He bent over, shacking worse then usual, trying to control his urge to vomit. He'd ran his anger out a bit, but had pushed himself farther than he could handle in one burst. He was a sprinter, not a long distance jogger.
