Djakael groaned as Trinell sidekicked him in the chest painfully, the martial arts master dropping her leg quickly only to twist her hips and slam another kick into his side before he could block it. A gasp left his lips from the kick but he caught her leg and threw her to the soft sand as she tried for a third. Trinell, having been caught, went down but spun around and came back up in a few swift movements. Djakael, not giving her the chance to kick him again, slammed her into the sand with a vicious Judo throw. Instantly, they were fighting for submissions. Missing a sick choke, Djakael grunted as Trinell swept him out of his side-mount and flipped over, taking his previous position, only to hook his head with her left arm and go North-South* on him. She rose up on her toes and leaned all her weight on his neck. Almost immediatly, Djakael was tapping, letting her know that he had given up. Releasing her grip almost as fast as she had set it in, Trinell rocked back onto her heels and grinned down at Djakael, her eyes bright. "That was a good roll, Dj. You're getting better." She said, smirking. Djakael rolled over onto his stomach and lifted himself up so that he was sitting with his legs tucked underneath him. "You need to be on the lookout for every submission, though. You missed a choke that would have made me work to get out." She added. Djakael nodded in understanding, grinning widely. His sky blue eyes gleamed with exhileration. "Gotcha. I'll keep working at it." He said. Trinell grinned and high-fived him, then paused, looking around. She could have sworn she heard someone coming close to her little training spot away from the prying eyes of the public. Lynn followed boardwalk, taking in the view around. She particularly loved the sparkle of the afternoon water, the sun seemed to let it shine just right. It was the perfect day to be by the water, it was warm and the wind was calm. When she reached the end of the boardwalk she stepped off and remained on her path through the sand.
An odd sound met her ears as two people came into view, they looked as if they were dancing, but suddenly one of them let out a grunt. Upon watching for another few seconds, and as she grew closer she realised that they were fighting, No, practicing. Lynn confirmed as she observed the female releasing the male as he smacked the ground in submission. She took in the different holds they had used, but they were unfamiliar to her. A smile crept onto her face, and she stood her ground while she continued to watch, positive that they were unaware of her presence.

"What's wrong?" Asked Djakael as he watched Trinell look around warily. She said nothing, merely glanced from side to side warily before sighing. "I could have sworn I heard someone coming up by here." She said, shaking her head. "Maybe I'm just paranoid." She added, glancing around herself once more. She had been wary for as long as Djakael had known her, which, although it felt otherwise, wasn't really that long. It was only a few years at most.
Not wanting Trinell to think like that - it would only cause her unnecessary trepidation - he looked around, his eyes landing on a figure standing not too far away. An amazed chuckle slipped through his lips, his eyes never leavingthe figure. "No, you're not paranoid. And you did hear it. There's a girl standing a little way behind you." He said, still chuckling in amazement. Trinell almost instantly whirled around, almsot giving herself whiplash, and blinked when she saw the girl. A look of relief flashed over her face, then she shot a grin at Djakael, her eyes laughing.
"I am so good!" She laughed, falling back off her heels and onto her butt with a quiet "Oomph!" Djakael merely shook his head, his eyes still watching the girl. Why was she just standing there? They didn't look that odd, did they?

One of her eyebrows raised as the girl looked around, What's she looking for? Lynn's forhead creased slightly, their voices were muffled by the distance. Well, I was looking for some excitement, and I guess I've found some. She stood loosely, one hand at her side while the other played with a belt loop.
Instantly, Lynn stiffened as the male saw her, and the female soon followed. Her face grew hot, embarassed that she had been caught watching them. Instinctively her hand reached for the back of her head, running her fingers through her hair. She was thankful that they didn't seem to be hostile, Are they laughing? She debated moving closer to talk.
As one of them fell onto their rear, a crumpled grin appeared on Lynn's face. Although her rosie cheeks remained she walked towards them, seeking to clear the awkwardness.

"Coming this way?" Asked Trinell with a grin, Djakael nodding and chuckling. Relaxing, he twisted his hips for a split second and stretched his legs out before him, crossing them at the ankles, and leaned back, his arms posted out behind him to hold him up. It was actually pretty comfortable.
Watching the girl get closer, Djakael called out a friendly, "Hi!" while Trinell, having seen him open his mouth and draw in some air, said, "Yo!" while looking over her shoulder and grinning. She wasn't one to be mean to a stranger for no reason, and she wasn't going to start now.
She turned around to face the newcomer, purely out of politeness, and shot her a cheerful grin.

To be honest, Lynn felt uneasy because of their friendliness. She lifted her hand in greeting, half-waving. She stretched her grin, in attempt to be polite, but it felt forced. She rubbed her face, trying to soothe the blushing. "I couldn't help but see you two wrestling." Her hand found the back of her head again, "I didn't mean to seem rude."
She stood a couple meters away from the pair, feeling out of place. "I noticed she really kicked your butt." Her smile became more natural as she poked fun.

Trinell waved off the girl's awkward apology with a dismissive hand, smiling. "Naw, you weren't rude at all." She said easily, mimicking Djakael's laid-back position but using only one arm as a brace instead. She laughed when she commented on Djakael's loss, Djakael pouting playfully.
"You got that right! This boy hasn't beaten me yet," Grinned Trinell, Djakael gasping in mock hurt. "Trinell! How could you! You know about my low self-esteem issues!" He fake-cried, laughing after a moment. He couldn't hold it in any longer. "Haha, naw. She's my Sensei, so she always kicks my butt haha." He laughed. "Oh! I'm Djakael, by the way. You can call me Dj if you want, though. Most people do, haha. And that crazy chick is Trinell, as I'm sure you heard." He added, smiling a relaxed smile.

"I'm Lynn," She smiled, growing more comfortable. She tried her best to memorize their names. "Sensei? So you two are training?" With a short exhale she sat down across from them. The two seemed to be fairly used to eachother, the way they were laughing.
"I hope I didn't interupt anything," She shrugged innocently, her smile remaining. She sat, her knees bent infront of her, not far from her chest. "What kind of moves were those anyways?" Cries from distant seagulls echoed above them, and she played with the sand near her hand. Her eyes wandered between Trinell and Djakael, she guess that they were each a few years older than herself, aswell as taller. While these facts intimidated her, their warm welcomes enticed her to stay.

"Don't worry, we were just having a little fun. I needed to see how good of a fighter he was, and I wanted to bruise him up a bit too." Trinell laughed lightly, grinning as Djakael smacked her on the back of the head with a muttered, "Oh, shut it, ya nut." She grinned at Lynn and winked, motioning with one hand for her not to say anything.
The next moment found Trinell launching herself from her sitting position into Djakael's side, slamming him into the ground, only for her to use his pinned body to her advantage and shove off of his firm stomach, flipping and landing just past his head with a grin on her face. She stuck her tongue out at him childishly. "Pbbbt! That's what you get for slapping your Sensei!" She said, blowing the raspberry in his face. Djakael, smirking, hooked her head and jerked her forward while throwing his own body into it, forcing them both to hit the ground. Hard. Djakael sat back after that, grinning.
"And that's what you get for tackling your elders!" He said, Trinell laughing and pulling herself back up into her previous position.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever Dj. I can still kick your butt any day of the week." She said, rolling her eyes. Then she grinned back at Lynn. "Sorry about that, but I couldn't resist. It's too much fun beating him up." She chuckled, amused. "Oh yeah! But they're Sambo Jiu Jitsu teachniques. It's the style of martial arts that I've been learning since I was really little. I started teaching him when I came back here and helped the loser out of a fight. He was such a wimp back then! It's amazing how far he's come." She explained.
"Hey! I was way outnumbered when you got there! It's not my fault that they wanted me dead just for being alive! Besides, had you not met and saved me then your life would be so dull and boring." He said, cutting her off as she tried to disagree. "And don't you even try to tell me otherwise. You've said it yourself." He smirked haughtily, sticking his tongue out at her. Then he shook his head and smiled at Lynn again. "Sorry, Lynn. It's kind of easy to get distracted when this nut," He jerked his thumb at Trinell. "is involved." He grinned, taking Trinell's punch to the arm with humor.

Scooting backwards a few inches as Trinell pounced into Djakael, she laughed. They're older, but I don't know about more mature. She found herself laughing as they continued to fight. They were hardly fighting, playing if anything, they were shifting positions so often, Lynn found it very interesting. Trinell looked a great deal stronger than Lynn, and she thought of herself as fairly weak, atleast in her upper body.
"Don't make me come over there, you two," Lynn's laugher chirped as they exchanged threats. She was growing to like both of them, and she held herself carelessly in the sand. When they were so friendly to eachother it was hard for Lynn to not follow suit. She watch him stick his tongue out at Trinell, then returned his smile for a second. "What do you mean the wanted you dead for being alive?" She asked quietly, ready to drop the question if it proved to be an unpleasent one. Instantly, she regretted asking, she wanted the pleasent atmosphere to remain.
