Miep shrugged as he accepted her offer for a fix up. "Come with me to my apartment, I got some stuff up there to do it." She pushed herself off the wall and stood with her arms folded as they talked.
"Aha, so, what about me is so intersting?" She probed, smilling and raising her eyebrows at him. Tenma really was a character. Especially walking around without a shirt on...She silently snickered to herself. He looked vaguely like a hobo.
While she waited for a reply to her last comment she walked past him, signalling for him to follow. She quickly mapped out the short root from there to her apartment. Only about 3 blocks. She smirked and turned on her heel, arms still folded across her chest. She dropped her hands and laid one on her hip. "Wanna have a race to my apartment? Only about 3 blocks from here. Not far." She cocked an eyebrow at him. She was having an oddly large amount of fun today. And she didn't even like Tenma. Right?

"You say words like 'interesting' funny." Tenma snickered, only joking by the comment. "Ahhh. What's interesting about you, eh? Well, you ask some pretty odd questions. I think you humans say 'awkward' in situations like this. Anyway. One; Your personality. You're like a Fiery Fox Vixen or something... Evil and Cunning but playful all the same. Two; You can actually stand to go to a place that smells as horrible as school and not get shunned by your fellow Guild members. And, three; For a human, you aren't half bad looking." Tenma said everything casually, as if he had no problems talking to her without restrictions. He didn't know what it was like to be 'shy' or 'reserved' because those were human emotions, and he was a dog. He didn't feel them the same way as people did. Another thing he didn't know, was love. He had heard the word before; but with his 'master' he never really found the meaning of the word. Besides, for a dog; Love meant the love from a Master. That and the human form were two totally different concepts.

"Um..." Tenma said questioningly, beginning a thought process. "Is it some kind of training or something? What do I get if I win? I don't get human things easily, sorry." Tenma said, apologizing for not being able to understand. He didn't know a lot of things about human life, and he certainly didn't know what fun was.
Being owned by Rohjyx the emotionless would do that to you.

The expressions on Miep's face changed several times during Tenma's explaination as to why he thought she was interesting. From annoyed, to eye rolling, to red, back to annoyed again, she'd start to snicker, and at some point she was kind of flattered. For an emotionless person, he certainly could have an affect on Miep-- probably the next most emotionless person in the Guild. She silently wondered to herself if she had the same affect at all on him. What did he think of her? Did he think she was annoying? She knew for sure he thought she was intersting, but what exactly did that mean? Did he enjoy spending any time with her? She blinked to herself for a moment, as she realized she was enjoying spending time with him. He was bringing out something in her that hadn't stirred for more than 20 years. Ha. She laughed at herself. She felt old when she thought more than 20 years, it was strange that she was older than that...
She shook the mind babble from her brain and focused back on Tenma and what he was saying. His black hair was a splay across his face, unkept in kind of a cute way. A small smile painted its way across her face as she said to him, "I appreciate the 'evil and cunning' thing. But no one has ever said they found my personality intersting. As much as you're giving off an unemotional personality, I'm just the same, except today. I haven't figured out why." She said it slowly and dilbrately, as if saying the words would help her figure out why exactly she was less monotone today. Though, somewhere in the far corners of her subconcious, she knew the answer: Tenma was bringing this out in her. But why? She didn't have the heart to tell him that she knew why she wasn't so dull today. She'd be embarrased. As she thought about that, she really realized that she really hadn't experienced many of these emtions to this extreme at all during her life time. What was happening to her? She rested her eyes back to Tenma.
"A race is a competition. I'll take you out to coffee if you win."
