To be frank, Sasha was far too stunned to reply to Rohjyx immediately. He stared blankly at the dark-haired man, eyes wide and eyebrows raised in a mixture of confusion and disbelief. Assassins...territories...what? The information overload had effectively cut off all rational thought, and had left him overwhelmed and feebly attempting to absorb all that was just told to him. Luckily, it seemed that Rohjyx was a patient man, as all he did was calmly look at the younger male, waiting for a reply. Perhaps he's used to this sort of thing. I can't be the only one he's explained this to...thought Sasha, brain shifting back into gear as he sorted through the tidal wave of information. After a few more beats of silence, the young chickadee shifter frowned.
"E-everything makes sense, b-but..." Sasha began, now fully recovered from the impressive speech. His ice blue eyes were focused on the panther shifter ahead of him, and his expression was one of slight confusion. "Do y-y-you know why the G-Guilds have such a b-b-bitter r-rivalry?" The question was simple enough, even if it was badly mangled by the boy's stutter, but Sasha knew the answer was probably a bit more complex. There didn't seem to be a logical cause for it - then again, the names of the guilds didn't make a whole lot of sense either - and hopefully, Rohjyx knew the answer.
That wasn't really the only question that arose in Sasha's mind, though. Sasha's gaze flicked back down to his shoes for the umpteenth time as he thought about his less important - and less intelligent - questions. Were there really enough shape-shifters to make up two separate guilds? Why did they bother claiming the sewer system? Had Rohjyx ever killed anyone, as his guild name would imply? Shivering just slightly, the smaller male decided to avoid asking the last one. He wasn't entirely sure he actually wanted to know the answer.
