Once upon a time, Vulpine was browsing the internet and came across a news article about a guy named something-first-name Cappuccio. He thought this was a pretty cool last name, and was amazed at how close it was to the word 'cappuccino'. He decided to share this information with DJ in the cbox on the website known as Shelpey Alley, and DJ agreed that it was a cool name. They got to talking about how cool Italian names are, and that it'd be neat if they changed their names to Italian ones.
And so they decided to do it.
A day or so later, both DJ and Vulpine had their Italian names decided on, when the fair maiden Rena happened to stop by. Being wed to DJ, she figured that she should have the same last name as her husband, and so adopted an Italian name as well. Over the course of a few hours, both Spook and Max decided to join in the fun, and decided on names for themselves.
Vulpine: Dante Moretti
DJ: Terenzio DeVito
Rena: Azzurra DeVito
Spook: Fausto Moretti
Max: Milo Ventimiglia
These five Italians went through the tedious process of creating new chatango accounts with these new names, and picking new colors for their posting fonts. Three of them thus far have changed their display names on Shelpey as well.
This is a free-for-all thing. If anyone else wants to join, go right ahead and make up an Italian name for yourself. There are plenty of websites around that can offer some really good first and last names.
