Age: Sixteen.
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight [males].
Guild: ------------
Shapeshift Form: domestic dog
Appearance:
In human form, she is a reasonable height, although a little on the small side, and often thought to be a weaker opponent simply because of her slender form. However, what little she has on her is all muscle, and when it comes to fighting, her style uses her height and weight to her advantage, rather than letting it remain a weakness. She has three scars that lie in sequence on the inside of her left wrist, marks that were as a result of a playfight with her brothers at the age of twelve, but other than those she has no visible scars.Personality:
Her eyes are the same blazing blue as her brothers, although upon closer inspection they have a green tint that neither of the two males possess. Her hair is a chestnut brown, and falls to just past her shoulders. It’s wavy texture at the top of her head gives way to ringlets towards the bottom, and her skin is lightly tanned.
Lancey is usually seen wearing a tight black tank top that falls below her shoulder blades at the back as to allow for optimal movement. In the summer, spring and fall months, she wears black shorts and and is never seen without her faithful combat boots. In the winter months, her ususal attire remains much the same other than her shorts, which are swapped for black skinny jeans that are rigorously tested for movement purposes.
On her right wrist, she wears a small golden band, with the words ‘Lancey and Chayce’ inscribed on the back; a gift given to her by Chayce, to remind her of him if they are ever to be separated. Her jacket is black, and a fake leather material- and is sometimes replaced by a plain hoodie in the winter months. She also sometimes wears a red scarf/bandanna around her neck.
In dog form, Lancey is smaller than both her brothers, her head coming up to their shoulders. She has a slender build, with long legs and a fluffy tail that she sometimes holds curled. Although her pelt, like her brothers, is mostly brown, it holds a lot more tan than theirs, a long with a few flecks of a golden colour, and even fewer of white and crème. Her eyes remain the same colour, and she is always seen wearing her delicate golden bracelet.
She also sometimes wears a red scarf/bandanna around her neck.
Lancey is the only female of her family, and an attractive sixteen-year-old female at that. Despite having two over-protective older brothers (even if, in Chayce’s case, they are older just by five minutes) Lancey has grown up as one tough chick.History:
She frequently uses sarcasm (often of the dry persuasion) and witty banter to not only provide entertainment, but to provoke enemies into making foolish and anger fuelled mistakes. Like her two brothers, she has the makings of a leader, but is content to let others lead through age and experience. She’s one for strategic thinking, something which frequently helps her wriggle out of the sticky situations that she often gets herself in to.
She has the ability to process a situation within the blink of an eye, and not only to think of one, but multiple outcomes depending on several plans of action, something that is incredibly handy within her line of work. She's always paranoid, and finds herself constantly assessing every situation- no matter how mundane it is.
Her trust in other people is limited, at best. Both of her parents died in a car accident when she was twelve, and she feels that the only people in the world that she can really trust are her brothers, and is therefore sometimes overly paranoid. She is unwilling to accept help from other people, seeing it as a form of weakness, something which sometimes results in her getting into sticky situations.
Upon first meeting her, many people would see her as showy and rude, but this is nothing more than a façade that she puts on for the rest of the world. In reality, the constant shift between foster homes and living with her brother had made her a little insecure, and she generally assumes the worst in people -- that they’re just going to suck her in, use her, and then spit her back out again.
Despite this, deep down she still wishes that she could be like every other girl her age and actually have friends. Maybe even a boyfriend.
Lancey’s parents were in a car accident when she was twelve; they’d left her and her two brothers home, and told Blayke to watch out for his younger siblings. Whilst on their way home from one of her father’s office parties, a drunk driver ran a red light and crashed into the side of her parents car -- killing her father instantly. Her mother survived the initial accident, along with the driver of the second car, but bled out on the way to the hospital.Sample:
The other driver was imprisoned, but Lancey, Blayke and Chayce had still been left parent-less. Blayke was fourteen at the time, and the twins twelve, making them at a difficult age to place. Their parents’ death was a lot for all of them to deal with -- especially with no other known relatives to take them in. The three of them ended up in foster care.
Their personalities and troubles kept them bouncing from foster home to foster home until Blayke turned eighteen, and was given legal guardianship of his two younger silbings. Lancey has lived in an apartment with her two brothers ever since.
