HUMAN. Sun is a slim female of Korean origin with her hair dyed a tasteful red. She stands just a little over 5'0" and weighs around 100 lbs – yes her height is a sore spot, don’t go calling her ‘shorty’. Her hair is of medium length and falls to just below her shoulders. Her body is well-toned from dance as well as extremely flexible; a reflection of her feline shifter form. Her walk is lithe and graceful, and she is undeniably quick and light on her feet. She typically wears off the shoulder tees and jeans (usually with rips and holes) and either ballet flats or stiletto heels. For Sun sneakers are just out of the question, she’d sooner go barefoot. Sun’s shifter tattoo looks more like a tramp stamp due to its location just above her pant-line – which suits her just fine and with her vivacious and flirty personality, not a single human doubts that she got it done herself.Personality:
CAT. As a feline, Sun takes on the appearance of an Abyssinian cat. She is slim in this form as well, with a long tail and a sleek fur coat. She is a ruddy cinnamon color and has copper-colored eyes. Weighing in at roughly 9 lbs, she measures just about 10" in at the shoulder in height. Her coat is of medium length and is very dense and well-insulated in addition to being very soft and silky to the touch.
Talk about a personality. Sun is boisterous, wild, flirtatious, quick-tempered, flighty, independent, and completely in-your-face. To say she has a strong personality is quite the understatement. Sun can be something of a whirlwind as she’s very capricious and typically quite playful; however she does have her calm moments. Unfortunately most of those moments are when she’s sleeping. Sun also has a rather flagrant sexuality, and while she is bisexual, she highly prefers woman. She certainly has nothing against sleeping with men, she just finds women more appealing – preferably those with large breasts as her own are rather modest. She’s damn sexy (in her own opinion) and anyone who doesn’t fall head-over-heels for her must be made to see the light. So if you’re gonna pretend your eyes weren’t glued to her when she walked in the door, prepare for Sun to be all over you. She always welcomes a challenge.History:
Though let’s be clear, while Sun is flirtatious and more than willing to throw herself all over someone to get their attention, she is not some two-bit whore. She simply likes the attention and her act of flirting is really more of a play for power. She just wants to be, needs to be, loved, but don’t expect her to love you back. This need stems from the birth of her half brother. Although she adores him and loves her father and step mother to pieces, Sun couldn’t help but feel a bit as if she had lost something precious to her on his birthday – her parents’ attention and love. She had always been friendly and outgoing, but after her half brother was born, Sun found she was acting even more extroverted to the point that it was almost as if she were shoving her personality down other people’s throats. The intensity of her personality has lessened slightly with age, but she is still quite forceful.
Many of her personality traits are highly influenced by her shifter form. While she is a loving person, Sun is quite picky about whom she gives herself to and it all happens on her terms – to be blunt, this fiery gal loves to be the one in control. And although at times Sun steals the spotlight, she’s perfectly content to blend in with the crowd. She’s not one to make waves when there’s a risk involved, and it when it comes to the secrecy of the shifter lifestyle, Sun is perfectly content – she fully embraces what she is. While some shifters never recover from the shock of finding out what they are, Sun is perfectly comfortable and does not shy away from contact with humans. Of course it’s not like she’s going to go around shouting to the world what she is.
Born to a human mother and a shifter father, Sun was raised in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States with her father when she was six. Her mother did not accompany them due to her death several months prior. In fact it was because of her mother’s death that they moved. Sun was devastated by and had stopped talking; her father was at a loss and could think only to distance Sun from anything that might remind her of her mother. So they moved to the lovely city of Rochester, New York.Sample:
It was probably the culture shock, but Sun became very timid. Thankfully she was young and quickly picked up the language, and since she had always been a friendly, kind child, Sun soon made several friends. She began to smile and talk again, and after a couple of years it seemed she had finally recovered. And now that Sun was stable enough, her father decided to remarry. She was an American woman, born and raised in Ohio, and she had no children of her own. Though it was awkward at first, Sun warmed up to her and came to love Miss Julia very much.
Her half brother was born when she was ten years old, and Sun could not have been happier to welcome him to the world. She bragged to all her classmates and loved to hold him whenever she was allowed. To be honest she would’ve loved to watch him grow up more, but genetics interfered with that plan. When Sun was fourteen she experienced her first shift. It was the scariest experience of her life. One moment she’s human, the next she’s not. She could feel her bones breaking and mending, cracking and shrinking, every horrifying noise so loud she was afraid her eardrums might rupture. And when the terrifying transformation subsided, she found herself to be feline as she stared in her full length mirror on the back of her bedroom door.
It really was a freaky thing to be staring at yourself but not seeing you anywhere in your reflection. Of course in the later years Sun would come to find herself in the feline. But anyhow, due to her ability to shift, Sun began to drift away from her family. Her curiosity had gotten the better of her as she wished to explore her abilities further. Since she was too worried that her father might not be a shifter she never did tell him, or anyone else for that matter, about her abilities. She finished high school quietly, but instead of going off to college as her father wanted; Sun packed up and moved to Shelpey.
Sun is well aware of the existence of other shifters and has encountered her fair share over the years. Suffice to say that it comes as no surprise to her that the shifters of Shelpey have formed “gangs” and banded together, but she’s not too keen to join up with them. To be honest it seems like too much of a hassle. Besides, she still stays in touch with her family and will drive up to see them on occasion, so she really doesn’t want to get involved in anything that might jeopardize the normalcy of her life.
I'm lazy so this is recycled; recent, but still recycled.Other:
To say she was an early riser was an understatement. She was up before even the faintest tinge of orange or pink dusted the wispy clouds that dotted the sky. But if one wanted to watch as the sun painted the world with brilliant color, one had to wake up early. Well, they didn't have to get up quite as early as she did. It was just that Sie wanted a prime spot to watch the sunrise from. It was rather refreshing to see it from a new location every morning, even if sometimes the ‘new location’ was mere inches from where she'd seen it yesterday.
So Sie had made the roughly two hour trek down the coast to Moon Beach. She had even forded the Río de Aguacate to make it to the Orilla Vieja area, not that the río was terribly high at the moment. For most wolves, all the time and effort it took to get there just to see the same sunrise they could see from right outside their den just wasn’t worth it. Of course Sie was not “most wolves”. To begin with she had joined the very tribe she hated (and still hated) and, apparently, she would travel miles and miles just to see the sunrise.
She loved beaches. Ocean and temperate weather aside, it reminded her of her desert birthplace. Sie halted on the pallid sands, just out of the tide’s reach, and closed her eyes. She inhaled the cool sea air and imagined it as an arid desert breeze. Oh the memories! But while indulging herself with memories of her former home was tempting, it tugged at her heartstrings and she felt the pang of sorrow which was attached to all memories of her past. Oh enough dwelling on the past, the sun was about to rise!
Sie snapped her blue-green eyes open and settled her hindquarters on the long stretch of sandy beach. There would be time to reminisce later; she could see the barest hints of color touching the clouds and a faint, but growing light on the horizon. Praise be to Diamu, it would be another glorious day! But lingering memories tinged her dawn with sadness. And as her eyes slid their gaze over to the empty spot beside her, her ears drooped and her shoulders hunched slightly as if in pain. The place where Owl should be was empty.
Ah! This was no way to start the day! Allowing herself only a few scant minutes of moping, Sie quite literally leapt to her feet. Slapping a most ridiculously zany grin on her maw, the Mexican she-wolf kicked up sand as she tore off down the beach. Yes! She would just grin like an idiot until it felt real, and she would outrun all those heavyhearted thoughts! But her graceful and sure-footed run turned into a rather unflattering face plant when Sie suddenly noticed a turtle in her path. Face in the sand, derrière in the air, Sie was like a cartoon character – she even spat out sand as she raised her head and flopped over to lie on the cool sand. “So much for that plan,” she muttered to herself, getting sand off her tongue by running it in and out of her mouth and scraping it against her teeth.
Sun smokes; she can often be found with a cigarette between her lips even if it's not lit. It's a bad habit she's trying to break, but sometimes she just can't resist.
