Appearance:
Human form: As a human, Tyler is nothing special in terms of appearance. He is somewhat attractive, but in more of a cutesy way -his silly behavior contributes to this. Tyler is rather tall -thanks to his shifted side- and stands at a height of 6 feet, though he is sure to grow much taller in the future.Personality:
He possesses a naturally warm skin tone of intermediate light that can come out as a nice tan in the summer sun. His mischievous eyes are a deep chestnut brown. Tyler's hair is ash brown in color of medium length. Rather then obeying gravity, it sticks up in a tousled look. He doesn't hesitate to use hair gel however. Light freckles mark his nose.
Tyler dresses very casually, usually with jeans or cargo pants, a t-shirt, and some sneakers. This isn't to say he has no other styles however. Though really only for entertainment purposes, Tyler can also don a series of jackets, caps, etc. His most extreme clothing would be his *bling-bling*, but this is only used to make a point. He rarely wears this kind of distinctive clothing. He really only has different costumes from over the years of random collecting.
Tyler's shifter mark is located on his right thigh, right below the hip.
Animal form: In his shifted form, Tyler stands roughly 2 meters high at the shoulder. To say he was tall would be an understatement. At this size, he weighs about 1200 lbs. He has long slender limbs that support his massive body. The legs end in a split hoof with 2 toes. This legginess sometimes makes him rather clumsy.
Dense, coarse fur covers Tyler's entire form. The hair is short in the warmer months, longer and thicker in the winter months and it's hollow, which helps him to swim. His coat is dark brown in color with a red sheen. The hindquarters are slightly lighter in color and so is the underbelly. His fur becomes more chestnut in color during the warmer months. Tyler's culminates in a rather large hump. The hair on the hump is a little longer than the rest of the his hair and it stands on end. His shoulders, as well as their hindquarters, are very muscular.
Hair culminates into a small crest at the top line of his thick strong neck from which hangs a long, round flap of skin and hair called a dewlap.
Tyler possesses very large ears which can pivot independently from each other in all directions and so he has very good hearing. He has dark brown eyes which, like the ears, can pivot independently 180°, therefore he can see all but what is directly behind him.
Tyler's pride and joy in his moose form is his large rack of antlers which can be up to 7 feet across and weigh around 80 pounds. They grow as cylindrical beams projecting on each side of his head at right angles to the mid-line of the skull, and then fork. The lower prong of this fork is divided into two tines, with some flattening. It's a pity when his antlers drop during the winter months.
As an ESFP, Tyler's primary mode of living is focused externally, where he takes things in via his five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. His secondary mode is internal, where he deals with things according to how he feels about them, or how they fit with his personal value system.History:
Tyler lives in the world of people possibilities. He loves people and new experiences. He is lively and fun, and enjoys being the center of attention. He lives in the here-and-now, and relishes excitement and drama in his life.
Tyler has very strong inter-personal skills, and may find himself in the role of the peacemaker frequently. Since he makes decisions by using his personal values, he is usually very sympathetic and concerned for other people's well-being. He's usually quite generous and warm. He is very observant about other people, and seems to sense what is wrong with someone before others might, responding warmly with a solution to a practical need. He may not be the best advice-giver in the world, because he dislikes theory and future-planning, but he is great for giving practical care.
Tyler is definitely a spontaneous, optimistic individual. He loves to have fun. He tends to become over-indulgent, and places more importance on immediate sensation and gratification than on his duties and obligations. He may also avoid looking at long-term consequences of his actions.
For Tyler, the entire world is a stage. He loves to be the center of attention and perform for people. He's constantly putting on a show for others to entertain them and make them happy. He enjoys stimulating other people's senses, and is extremely good at it. He would love nothing more than for life to be a continual party, in which he plays the role of the fun-loving host.
Tyler loves people, and everybody -well, most- loves Tyler. One of his greatest gifts is the general acceptance of everyone. He is upbeat and enthusiastic, and genuinely likes almost everybody. Tyler is unfailingly warm and generous with his friends, and he generally treats everyone as a friend. However, once crossed, Tyler is likely to make a very strong and stubborn judgment against the person who crossed him. He is capable of deep dislike in such a situation.
Tyler under a great deal of stress gets overwhelmed with negative thoughts and possibilities. As an optimistic individual who lives in the world of possibilities, negative possibilities do not sit well with him. In an effort to combat these thoughts, he's likely to come up with simple, global statements to explain away the problem. These simplistic explanations may or may not truly get to the nature of the issue, but they serve Tyler well by allowing him to get over it.
Tyler is likely to be very practical, although he hates structure and routine. He likes to "go with the flow", trusting in his ability to improvise in any situation presented to him. He learns best with "hands-on" experience, rather than by studying a book. He's uncomfortable with theory. He may tend to avoid situations which involve a lot of theoretical thinking, or which are complex and ambiguous. For this reason, Tyler has difficulty in school. On the other hand, he does extremely well in situations where he's allowed to learn by interacting with others, or in which he "learns by doing".
Tyler is a great team player. He is not likely to create any problems or fuss, and is likely to create the most fun environment possible for getting the task done.
Tyler has a tremendous love for life, and knows how to have fun. He likes to bring others along on his fun-rides, and is typically a lot of fun to be with. He's flexible, adaptable, genuinely interested in people, and usually kind-hearted. He has a special ability to get a lot of fun out of life, but he needs to watch out for the pitfalls associated with living entirely in the moment.
Tyler's history is not very outstanding. He discovered his shifting abilities when he was four years old. He was just learning to swim and had jumped in on his own, but soon found he was unable to stay afloat. In his desperate thrashing, Tyler suddenly found it to be easier and resurfaced unharmed. Upon emergence, he felt he was no longer himself. The reflection from the water proved his assumptions. At first he freaked out and caused quite a panic with his mother when a moose calf came charging at her. Tyler eventually calmed down enough to learn that he could shift, and his alarm immediately turned into enthusiasm. This was the most awesome thing that had ever happened to him!Sample:
His mother -being the cool person she is- promptly accepted her son's abilities and has kept them confidential. There was nothing much she could do about it anyway -though at first she tried to get him to see a doctor, and when that didn't work, a gypsy. She seems to understand more than Tyler himself how remarkable of an ability he has.
Tyler lives solely with his mother and she is therefore the only family member that knows of his shifting. His father is unknown to him and he's never met his grandparents -his mother has a very rocky relationship with them. His mother is an artist and a very care-free spirit, which explains a lot about Tyler.
Tyler has lived in Shelpey his entire life and knows the streets like the back of his hand. The city is his playground. He's never known anything else. He joined the thieves when he entered middle school at 12 years old and befriended Alex. Since then, he's been a big part of the gang.
I'm a good writer! I swear!Other:
He's going to be SO MUCH FUN¡
