Flashing lights of various blinding colors, deafening techno and hip hop music, and hundreds upon hundreds of rocking, sweaty bodies surrounded Trinell as she danced; the wolf herself was caught between some guy that was a few good inches taller than her and had a rock hard body and a dainty, fiery little Hispanic girl (that Trinell was sure was called Lupita or something) that rocked, dipped, and swayed in perfect sync with the taller Trinell.
At the sudden loud boom of the bass, both Trinell and Lupita dropped low to the ground, their knees pressing against each other and forming a diamond between the two. With the sudden popping of the music, they made their way back to their normal height, their bodies dropping and rising with the beat until they were standing completely and rocking in sync with each other. Grinding is what most people called it, but at the time Trinell couldn't give a damn what it was called. She was having fun.
Hips twisting and dipping like a pro, Trinell kept her body moving and grinding against Lupita's until the song ended a few minutes later. "Oi, Lupita. I'm gonna go get something to drink, m'kay? I'll dance with you again later?" She yelled over the music, her mouth next to the feisty little Hispanic's ear so that she could hear. "Si, si, Trinny. We'll dance again later, chiquita~" She purred, her accented voice high and lilting.
Laughing, Trinell let the guy know she was out before making her way towards the bar. She was thirsty as hell and there was no way she could keep going at that pace for long before she was in desperate need of water. It was slow progress towards the bar, what with random old dance partners of Trinell's stopping her and dancing with her for a little bit. Not that she minded, really. But she was thirsty so she only stayed for a few moments before heading on again.
When she finally broke free of the crowded dance floor, Trinell made her way to an empty seat at the bar and asked for a bottle of water from the bartender. He smiled at her and tossed it to her while saying, "I saw you coming, Trin. You always want the same thing, even if you only come here every other month." She just laughed and unscrewed the top before gulping down half of the bottle. She screwed the top back on securely as he said, "Why don't you come here more often, anyways? I can tell you love being out there." Trinell grinned.
"I really don't have the money to come out here more than every other month, ya know? I'm on a tight budget. Besides, my boyfriend would die if I came here more often." At this she laughed heartily, knowing Kyo would have a heart attack if he even saw her dancing out here once. "He already has a hard enough time letting me come here randomly." Jake, the bartender, shook his head and laughed lightly at her words.
"If he has so many problems with it, why doesn't he just come here himself?" He asked, the wolf snickering and taking another gulp of water. "He doesn't dance. He'd hate to come out here." She replied after she screwed the cap back on. Jake nodded in understanding and walked down the bar to take someone else's order.
Smirking lightly, Trinell turned around on her barstool and propped her elbows up on the bar, her glowing green eyes traveling over the massive dance floor, around to where the booths were, then finally over to the entrance where she could see a steady stream of people coming. Sadly, even with all the people there already, the club wasn't even half full yet. She finished off her water bottle. Well, it was a giant club. It wasn't surprising that it wouldn't be very full yet.
She hopped off her stool. It was time for her to head back into the mass of pulsing bodies. Eyes bright and smirk knowing, Trinell set off for the dance floor with long, purposeful strides. She could already feel her body humming from the insanely loud music.

To most, a crowd of overheated, swaying bodies, jam packed into a building pounding with the latest techno music, would be a nightmare. Not to Jesse, though - to him, it was pure paradise. Though he was one of the shortest people present, he slipped through the masses easily, passing quick flirty smiles to anyone cute like they were tic tacs. The synthesized beat of the songs shook his horribly skinny frame and nearly deafened him with the bass, but he swayed his tightly clad hips in time regardless. Smoothly making it through the crowd - and picking up a girl or boy or two on the way - all the way to the bar. He was already perspiring heavily, and he needed a quick drink of water before he could go any further. Stripping off his eye-rapingly pink jacket to reveal the thin chest and arms beneath, his blue eyes suddenly caught movement to the left of where he was sitting.
Though he just barely caught a look at her face, Jesse noticed a very pretty woman leaving the bar. A thick braid of hair snaked its way down her back, leading his eyes to - well, you get the idea. There was also the nice, energetic way she swung her hips, like she had a lively energy about her. A smirk was suddenly plastered on his feminine features; from the way she walked and looked, she seemed like someone worth going after.
"One water, please," Jesse said to the bartender, eyes still on the retreating beauty. She was disappearing into the crowd, almost completely hidden by the swinging, dance clusters of random people, but thanks to her height, he could still pick out the top of her dark-haired head. A cold bottle was suddenly pressed into his slender hand; with a few quick swings, the water was gone and the young man was refreshed. Now, his mind purred, seductive smirk in place, it's time for the chase.
Tying his jacket around his waist, as to not lose it, Jesse hopped off the bar stool and immediately threw himself back into the dance floor. He just about lost his bearings with the sudden rush of people - not that he minded, losing himself in the crowd and the music was one of the best things about the club - but his resolve to find the dark-haired woman kept him steady and focused. He pushed ahead, easily making his way through the smallest of gaps, until he finally caught up with the dancing beauty.
Now that he got a good look at her, he was certain that she was worth going after. Taller than him, though it was to be expected, nice figure, amazing dancing skills...not to mention the pretty face. She was turned towards him, though he doubted he was actually grabbing her attention. She seemed far too absorbed in the blaring music. Instead, he came in closer, breaking into her nice little dancing circle with little difficulty. Soon, he was just another dancer in the group.
"Hey there," he said, voice just cutting above the fast-paced noise pounding out of the high power speakers. He was matching her movements now, mostly; he kept up the beat with her, at least. "May I have this dance, Miss...?" His mock formality was accented by his playful smirk. He had come here for a good time, and with any luck, so had she. And if she hadn't...well, it was her loss. Jesse was a great dancer, or at least, he thought so.

Trinell could never deny how happy and excited she was when she felt all those moving bodies crowd around her, pressing against her and making her entire body outrageously hot. She loved feeling the people crush against her almost as much as she loved it when she danced with someone who was an amazing dancer. The ones who could keep up with her at every beat, those were her favorites.
Lean-muscled body rocking, dipping, and grinding against her current partner's slim body, Trinell barely noticed when he was replaced by someone considerably smaller and much more skilled at dancing. The kid (a girl, it looked like to Trinell) matched most of my her moves, which was considerably better than the other guy. The other guy had been awkward and jerky, not at all like the smooth and precise movements Trinell and the girl before her made. Emerald eyes landing on the pretty girl's dainty face, Trinell matched her smirk and leaned ever so slightly closer in order to hear her over the music.
"Hey there. May I have this dance, Miss...?" Her mock formality made Trinell laugh and wink at her. "I'm Trinell, hun. You can call my Trinny, if you'd like." She said loudly, her voice carrying over the music. "And you would be...?"
She had to admit, her clothes were rather bright now that she took the time to look at them. Was that a hot pink jacket? Yes, yes it was. Trinell almost snickered. Her own darkly-colored clothes had to make her new partner stick out like a sore thumb. Not that Trinell minded, of course. She was rather comfortable in her tight but flexible dark blue jeans, tight black tank top, and sleeveless black hoodie (the hood was down). Her black-and-silver Nike sneakers allowed her to move easily but not be uncomfortable.

Now that Jesse was fully integrated into the woman's dancing ring, he began to enjoy the simple act of moving to the music. The man that had been taking the girl's attention - not very good at matching the pounding beat, if Jesse had to give his opinion - soon moved away, allowing space for the smaller teen to step in and resume the twisting, turning movements. He and the woman danced for a few moments before he first spoke, and it simply went to prove that she was worth coming after to dance with. She moved gracefully and with talent, as though she was comfortable with the art of dancing, and she looked good doing it.
The dark haired woman gave a friendly laugh after Jesse's icebreaker, finishing it with a wink. "I'm Trinell, hun. You can call my Trinny, if you'd like. And you would be...?" Jesse chuckled girlishly, though he doubted she could actually hear him. Trinny, hm? It was an adorable nickname, and seemed to fit her, from what he had experienced. "The name's Jesse," he replied, raising his voice higher than last time. He had noticed her dip in towards him slightly, as though she was having a hard time catching his words.
Not soon afterward, the music faded out, signaling the end of the song. Jesse took the opportunity to rest a little before continuing, putting his hands on his denim-clad hips and tossing his hair back. Sweat was making his skin tight tank-top cling uncomfortably, but the bright side was that his boots, the same pink as his jacket, were still quite comfortable. He was certain that he could keep dancing for a good time to come, at least until the next water break. The night was looking good.
The few seconds of reprieve the club had soon ended when a new beat started blaring out of the speakers, igniting the crowd to resume their jumping and swaying movements with vigor. "Ooh!" Jesse suddenly exclaimed, clapping his hands together like an excited child. "I love this song!" As the music started to pick up, and the bodies around them jerked and turned, Jesse started swaying his hips to the beat. He looked up at Trinell with an inviting smile, silently asking her to dance with him. Not that I have any doubts she will, he thought smugly.

As the current song came to an end, Trinell let her body finish its rolling motion and waited patiently for the good song that she knew was coming. She knew the DJ there and would vouch for him any day if someone asked about his tastes in dance music. He was an amazing DJ; hence his solid position at the club. And she knew that if he saw her (which she was certain he had by now, going by the songs he'd played) then he would keep playing upbeat, easy-to-dance-to songs for the rest of the night. He was very clear on how much Trinell hated it when bad songs were played and, as he wasn't too fond of bad songs himself, he never played them.
One hand on her hip and her lips pulled into a mischievous grin, Trinell looked down at Jesse. She could now see (just barely) that who she had thought was a 'she' was actually a 'he', albeit an extremely feminine he. She was just about to open her mouth to speak when the music suddenly began exploding through the speakers once more; almost instantly the crowd began their dancing once more and Trinell was not one of the people who lagged behind the crowd.
"Ooh! I love this song!" She heard Jesse exclaim, the boy sounding so incredibly excited that Trinell couldn't help but laugh and resume her dancing with him. He was just so cute! He almost made her think of Andrei when he was excited about something; he made her want to hug him and protect him from anyone who would want to harm him.
"Hey, Jesse. How often do you come here? I don't recall seeing you last time I was here." 'And I know it'd be impossible to miss you, especially with your bright clothes.' She called over the music, never once stopping her swaying and dropping movements.

The music blasted out in quick beats and heavy bass, and Jesse was very pleased to see that Trinell did not hesitate to join in the dance. Her body was instantly swaying and turning, dropping and rising at different intervals, prompting Jesse to laugh with excitement. He too picked up on the movements, and was fully absorbed into the music until Trinell spoke.
"Hey, Jesse. How often do you come here? I don't recall seeing you last time I was here," the darker haired beauty asked, her voiced laced with a bubbly laugh. Her emerald eyes were bright even when the overhead lights weren't on them, and the way they radiated happiness made Jesse smile even more. She was definitely one of the more engaging dance partners he had ever had, and she had a curious, light-hearted air about her that the mink-shifter was drawn to. After this, he mused, I'm going to have to find some way to keep in touch with her. I like her.
"I've never actually been here before," admitted the shorter teen, turning away from his new friend briefly in a well-timed spin. His wavy hair bounced against his shoulders when he stopped, and he flashed a smile to his dancing partner. "I've been to some other clubs in the area, but this one's a first for me." In truth, 'the area' consisted of all over the place, wherever the well-to-do teen had traveled, but he was telling the truth about this one. Surprisingly, he had never been to the area where the club was in, and he had only recently heard about it from a friend. However, when he learned about its location, he knew he had to venture out to it and go dancing.
"Do you frequent this club, though?" asked the shorter of the two, still twisting and swaying to the beat. If she did, he'd have to add it to the list of his favorite places. Seeing as he had never seen Trinell in any other place he hung out, he doubted they'd bump into each other anywhere else. And that would be a shame - she's a really great dancer!

Trinell ignored the sweat she felt rolling down her body in favor of swaying and rolling her body in time with the music. She kept her eyes on Jesse as she spoke, asking him a question, and felt a smile tug at her lips as he performed a smooth, well-timed twirl. He responded once he was facing her again. "I've never actually been here before," he replied, neither of them stopping their movements. "I've been to some other clubs in the area, but this one's a first for me. Do you frequent this club, though?" He added after a moment.
'Shame he's never been here before, really. But I'm glad he came tonight; he can spare me from other dancers that aren't up to our level.' She thought happily, rolling her hips smoothly from side to side with slight movements from her feet. "Sadly, I don't come here as often as I'd like to. I don't have the money for it and my poor boyfriend would have a heart attack if I came here more than I do." She laughed. Oh, she'd have to make sure to call Kyo when she was leaving to let him know that she was fine and on her way home. Then she'd have to call him when she got home just so that he didn't totally freak on her, despite the fact that he knew she could kick just about anybody's ass. Speaking of calling, she'd have to get Jesse's number; there was no way she was leaving without a way to keep in touch with him. He seemed so fun!
"Y'know, though, you should totally give me your number. That way we can keep in touch! I'd hate to not talk to you again. You're so cool!" She suggested, her eyes twinkling. They flashed for a second as a guy bigger than her tried to slip in between her and Jesse only to gleam darkly as she smoothly twisted her body to block his as well. "Oh no, big boy, you are not getting between us. Better move it along, m'kay hun?" She sneered to him, noticing the drunken light in his eyes. She hardened her gaze into the glare she used to intimidate people with a blink, letting him know she wasn't playing, before blinking the look away and smiling kindly at Jesse.
"Sorry about that, but I had the displeasure of dancing with him earlier. He sucks and he tried to feel me up. The only reason he's not at the hospital is because he was so damn close and a few really good dancers that I dance with a lot were around us. I didn't want to hurt them." She apologized, keeping her dancing up. She hadn't stopped the entire time she'd been shooing the guy, and she didn't intend to stop now.

Even with the oppressive heat radiating from the dancers around him and the sweat making his clothes cling even tighter, Jesse was having a fantastic time with Trinell. It was certainly enough to put a huge grin on his face. However, the instant his dancing partner replied to his question with a negative answer, the smile dropped and was replaced by a small, disappointed pout. "Sadly, I don't come here as often as I'd like to," Trinell had sighed in response, continuing on with an explanation why. When she mentioned her boyfriend - from her description, he seemed a little protective - the smaller dancer wondered if it was a sign that she didn't appreciate his flirting. Did she not want to dance with him anymore, and she decided that scaring him with her boyfriend could get rid of him? Jesse wasn't entirely sure.
Luckily, all doubts were dispelled when Trinell flashed her partner an excited, radiant smile. "Y'know, though, you should totally give me your number," she suggested, bringing the smile back to Jesse's face. So she WASN'T trying to scare him away! "That way we can keep in touch! I'd hate to not talk to you again. You're so cool!" At this, Jesse couldn't help but laugh. She just sounded so happy, and her friendliness was contagious. The mink shifter was very, very, VERY glad he had found her in the club.
"I-" Jesse began with smile, continuing the conversation now that he had recovered from the small giggle-fit, but a rather rude interruption cut him off. A foul smelling man had sidled up next to the dancing pair, and without warning, suddenly tried squeezing his way in front of Jesse. Trinell stopped him gracefully; a quick, sharp sneer, a hard look, and some smooth maneuvers had eliminated the problem. "Sorry about that," she apologized, glaring gaze melting back into a smile.
"As I was saying before the intrusion," continued the smaller dancer, wavy hair bouncing against his shoulders as he continued to move to the blaring beat, "I would love to keep in touch, Trinny! Let's exchange numbers before we leave. And I'm glad you think I'm cool - the feeling's mutual." With that, he smiled at Trinell. He vaguely wondered if she would take his behavior as flirting - he wasn't trying to, since he knew she already had a romantic partner. He just couldn't help doing it by accident!

If there was one thing Trinell loved about how she grew up, it was the fact that her stamina was off the charts and that her muscles would give out before she ran out of energy for just about anything. And it came in handy when she was dancing; she could go for hours without stopping if she wanted to. She wasn't stupid though. She wasn't going to just go, go, go and mess herself up. No, Trinell was smarter than that. As it was, the heat alone combined with her constantly excited dancing was going to demand a few good stops for water. Not that she minded too terribly, she just didn't want to leave Jesse, really. He was just so much fun!
At her negative response, Jesse's bright smile faded and Trinell felt briefly sad, only bringing her smile back with the thought that she could possibly get his number. He himself seemed excited about the idea of exchanging numbers and just as he was about to reply, he was cut off by a large drunken fool. Trinell quickly steered him away, apologizing to Jesse for the show, only for Jesse to smile and say, "As I was saying before the intrusion, I would love to keep in touch, Trinny! Let's exchange numbers before we leave. And I'm glad you think I'm cool - the feeling's mutual." Trinell flashed him an ecstatic grin, rocking her hips and body with the almost deafening music. She duly noted his flirtatious behavior but thought nothing of it; Jesse knew she was taken. It was probably just his nature, just as it was Trinell's nature to be friendly and out-going.
"Great! We'll totally have to hang out sometime after this. Maybe you could even meet Kyo! He gets jealous and really protective of me, but no worries. I can handle him, no problems." She smirked, winking, and tossed her long braid over her shoulder. She thought about cutting it sometimes, just to get it out of the way and calm her hair cut down some, but she'd had it for so long that she couldn't really see herself without it.

"Jealous boyfriend?" Jessie inquired over the blasting beats and the trance dancing, his high voice cutting through the layers of sound. "Sounds dull. Kyo's a cute name, though!" With this, the mink shifter flashed Trinell a perfect Colgate smile. "I'd love to meet him."
Honestly, his intentions were quite amiable...mostly. Jessie always loved expanding his social circle, no matter how protective or jealous someone would be. If he ended up not liking the stranger, then blowing them off was an easy course of action. However, the thin young man was also interested in the SEEING that accompanied the meeting. Trinny seemed to be someone with good test, especially in people. It also felt like she'd have reasonably high standers, because why would a strong, sparkling girl like her have to settle for less? Only the best would do.
Which, of course, meant Kyo was probably a cutie. One that Jessie wouldn't mind grabbing some eye candy of.
Of course, he wasn't going to actually do anything - he'd look, not touch. It wasn't his style to steal the beaus of his friends. What's the harm in taking a peek? thought the smirking shifter as he suddenly dropped to the floor for a dance move. It's only to satisfy my curiosity.
Coming back up, Jessie's shining eyes caught a glance at the neon display of the club's clock. He sure had arrived late - he didn't have long until the club closed for the night. Pity. "It seems that our carriage is about to turn back into a pumpkin," the teen lamented, indicating the clock with a flick of his wrist.
