Human: clickPersonality:
Elki is quite a petite girl when it comes to her overall body structure, but she is, ironically, five foot six inches tall and weighs a mere one hundred fourteen pounds. She has pale skin and freckles on her face, which are covered with makeup. Her big blue eyes seem to catch the attention of most people, as well as her overall pretty face. Her hair is naturally long, but dyed black, with side bangs. The shifter mark is the average size and on her left inner thigh, out of sight for the most part.
Shifted:
As an ocelot, Elki looks like any other ocelot with various spots and markings along her light tawny colored coat. But what separates her from the others is her eyes are the same blue as they are in human form, if a little lighter. They are big, bright, and definitely captivating.
• sweetheart; The most obvious of Elki's personality traits is that she is really sweet. She enjoys helping people and staying away from gossip and anything else that might upset a person. It is just in her nature to be nice, and she expects the same in return. She is completely genuine and has a heart of gold. If she wasn't so caring and loving, she would definitely not be herself.History:
• sarcastic; Although sweet, she is also sarcastic. It's not really in a bad way, more all in good fun. She tries to avoid making really rude sounding snarky comments when she is around people she doesn't know well. Most of them are made while she is around friends or family and people who understand her humor. If she comes off as a rude smartass, someone is totally taking it the wrong way.
• goofy; With sarcasm comes silliness and Elki is most definitely silly. She enjoys messing around and being somewhat immature. Her sense of humor varies, depending on the people she is around. She can be just plain silly or pretty perverted in an abhorrent way. If she is hyper, she definitely takes it to a whole new level as well. This girl is not afraid to laugh. In fact, she laughs at just about anything, whether it was a joke, or someone totally just farted. She can understand most types of humor, which makes it easier to get along with different individuals.
• stubborn; She is really stubborn; so stubborn to a point it's actually kind of annoying, if you're the type of person to get annoyed by that anyway. This stubbornness can go a lot of different ways. Meaning, it's hard to change her mind, she won't give into anything, and so forth. It is extremely rare she will ever give into something and when she does, it was pobably because she had no other choice, and she is most likely not happy about it.
• affenctionate; Elki absolutely loves giving affection and being the subject of affection. Jealousy arises when she is not on the receiving end of affection and she sees it being given to someone else (only with people she knows of course, not random strangers). She often gives her closest friends a lot of hugs; it's a way to show she cares, and when they do the same, it just brightens her day even more. She isn't too affectionate because it might make them uncomfortable, but sometimes it's too hard not to, especially when it's someone she likes a little more than just a friend.
• lazy; It's a bit ironic, but she is lazy. For normal people, lazy days come and go, but she prefers to take them whenever she can. If she doesn't have anything to do, she will sit around in her sweat pants and a tank top all day and chill out at home. If she can get away with asking someone to get her something, she will, but it's mostly out of laziness. If someone catches this, she will get up and do whatever it is herself, mostly out of guilt and embarassment.
• empathetic; Elki is almost always aware of what other people are feeling. Not only that, she can sympathize with them and feel what they are feeling. She is very understanding and quite sensitive when it comes to emotions and feelings. If anyone is sad or upset, maybe angry, she will offer her shoulder and lots of hugs and soothing words, and possibly some advice if she has any available.
• nerd; There are two ways that she is a nerd: she is very intelligent and does well in school, and she is a video game nerd. She takes pride in being a nerd and doesn't let anyone bring her down. When it comes to school, she isn't completely insane about doing school work, but she just gets the job done, and is just incredibly smart in general. When it comes to video games, she could talk about them for hours on end and never get tired of it. She can also play them for that long as well.
zero to seven years:Sample:
Elki is the child of Lucifer and Kasey Ackerman, who were both ocelot shifters. The first five years of her life may not of been any different from the average, nonshifter child. She went to preschool and elementary school, and seemed to be very smart and definitely a quick learner. She loved cats, but hated dogs, and would either throw stuff at them or cry if they came near her. Her parents were still deciding when to tell her of her shifting ability, but figured they wouldn't for a few more years, unless she shifted herself before then.
seven to ten years:
Life went on as normal and her parents eagerly stood by, watching her grow. When she was eight years old, she finally shifted into an ocelot, just like her parents. Her shifter mark appeared on her inner thigh, which she noticed, but paid no mind to. Of course, after she shfited, she consulted her parents about it. At first, she was in denial, thinking it was all a dream, but once her parents confirmed it was all too real, she grew happy and rather excited. But for the next few years, it was quite random when she shifted. Even once at school, she shifted, but luckily she was in the bathroom and able to hide in there until she shifted back. She was also able to convince her teacher she had just felt really sick.
eleven to fifteen years:
As she grew closer to becoming a teenager, Elki was able to control her shifting, somewhat. She was happy she finally could when she was fourteen and life was pretty normal for her, despite using her form to sneak out of the house late at night. She had only done it a few times and it was to see her current boyfriend, Mikey. They didn't fool around any, but he was old enough to drive, so he took her out on the town. When she was getting closer to being fifteen years old, her parents found out about Mikey. Elki was forced to say her goodbyes to him, mostly because her parents didn't want him finding out she could change into an animal.
sixteen to nineteen years:
As she got older, she grew less rebellious and focused on school even more than she had been before. She was able to since Mikey wasn't around to distract her any. Elki also got a job on the side and worked every day after school, except on weekends. As her grades shot up from C's to A's and she had some money in her pockets, she was happier with herself. She graduated when she was seventeen and continued to work. At eighteen, she packed up and left her parents' house, moving to Shelpey Alley. Only a few weeks after she arrived, she found the Thieves gang and decided to run with them.
The morning sun baked down on Decay's back as he laid near a boulder, dozing lightly. His eyelids flicked as the light seemed to tickle them. He flared his nostrils and curled his lips back slightly in disapproval. Another day meant more annoyances and being forced to interact with others. Oh, the joy--hardly. Just as he was about to go off into dream land again, he felt a peck. It was gentle, playful, but just as quick as it happened, Decay sprang to his feet and opened his red eyes. He snarled viciously, revealing his sharp teeth. He looked up to see the gryphon flying overhead; oh that annoying bugger! He stood up on his hind legs and screeched, his acid saliva flying from his mouth. With his sides heaving as he took deep breaths, he slowly went back into his normal walking position instead of all stretched out to appear larger.Other:
"Inconsiderate numbskull," Decay muttered to himself. He could already feel a slight soreness in his throat from the screech. What a great way to start the day off. Shaking his head, he began to walk slowly toward the pond. He passed by Keirce and Neil, but didn't even glance at them. He grunted roughly and perked up as he saw the pond up ahead that he visited quite frequently. Being an excellent swimmer, he often took a quick dip, but it was also where he satisfied his thirst. As he neared, he saw Loki. He neared the faun, but turned and walked along the bank of the pond so he was a good distance away. Lowering himself, he dipped his mouth into the water and drank, his tongue lashing in as little fishes swam curiously toward him.
