As a human, Savannah is short and thin. She doesn't have much muscle, and is skinny all over. Her hair is a rich golden red and her skin is lightly colored. Her eyes are hazel in the light, and brown in the shadows. She usually wears a maroon shirt with four pockets on it; two that button and two that zip. It has short sleeves and she wears dark jeans with an assortment of small rips with it. On her feet she wears a pair of white and sky blue sneakers. Her shapeshifter marking on the left ankle of her right foot. It is small and indigo in color, with a bold black outline.
Animal:
As an animal, Savannah is an average sized clouded leopard with large paws and short claws. She is more of a beige-tan color an average leopard, and she has no markings on her lightly colored underbelly. Her fur is thick and short, and it thickens at the tip of her long tail. Her spots are normal for a clouded leopard, and her eyes are amber-brown.
Savannah is usually gentle, sweet and caring, but when doing her job of stealing, she is crafty, a master at stealth, and can trick people with well thought out conversation and actions. She is also very defensive of her belongings. She can be a great and loyal friend, though, and gives good advice. Despite this, She can get easily offended at times. She doesn't like to speak her mind to others she hasn't known for long enough. At first appearance, she seems wierd, touchy, and likes it when she has the knowledge that she is among the best, which can make her seem rude and snobby. She loves climbing even though she isn't very strong, and she also likes to swim, which she is ok at. She also likes music, shells, fethers, and rocks. She has a journal which she sometimes writes in, and she absolutely loves drawing as her mom was an artist. She is pretty good at it, and enjoys drawing animals in her spare time. She isn't very good at drawing humans, though, isn't very funny at times, and can get motion sick somewhat easily.History:
Savannah was born outside of Shelpey Alley, and later moved in. She only recently discovered that she could shapeshift. She was speaking with one of her old friends when she asked about a neat black tatoo that her friend had on his shoulder. He seemed flustered after she asked, as if it were some big secret. He told her that he couldn't tell her, even if he wanted to. Confused, she simply shrugged it off. A week later, she decided to move to Shelpey with her mother. After a while of living with her, she noticed that her mom had the same tatoo on her left knee. She asked what it was, but her mother said that she, sadly, couldn't tell her. This made Savannah even more confused. During this time, she had also seen strange and exotic animals roaming the area on occasion.Sample:
It was when she was coming home one day. It all became clear. She stared wide eyed at a man with the same tatoo on his neck. His formed fizzled and flashed. He disappeared, and a leopard took his place. She ran home and told her mother what she had seen. She didn't reply, and Savannah went to her room. After several different attempts, she was finally able to change. When she changed back, there was a slight pinch in her ankle. When she looked, the same tatoo was on her leg. She smiled and showed her mom. Her mother then told her the truth, and told Savvannah that she was forbidden to tell anyone about her ability to shift who didn't have that same tatoo.
Seeing her firey spirit and potential wit, her mother had her join the gang of theives. Sadly, her mother died a month later, and repo men took away the house and her belongings. She found herself lucky to be a theif, as it helped her greatly in survival.
(an average post from a random thread i'm in on another site)Other:
Her black ears pricked and searched like small radars. Fauna swore she had heard something. Unable to dismiss the thought that something had come, she peered just past the rim of the broken tin pipe. It was hard to see anything through the fog. She tried to sniff, but the crisp vapor of the fog blocked off two of her senses.
She ended up resorting to her ears, swiveling them to catch any small sound. They were as sharp as they used to be, but they could still be used in her old age. She pricked them towards a moving blob that was slowly but surely migrating through distant headstones. She figured she was just seeing things, yet she rested her head lower, ignoring the leaky drip that ran down between her ears and swiveled through the marbled beige and jet grey fur on her spine. She was laying there tensely, her eyes and ears focused as she watched intently through narrowed eyes. It didn't seem to be coming towards her, but she wasn't able to tell accurately. She hoped there wouldn't be a fight as it looked pretty big, but if there was, she had the sewer to escape to.
