These characters have been created so that you may include them in your posts and interact with characters and personalities outside of those made and roleplayed by members. Anyone may control these characters during roleplay:
Old Man Elzer:
Quirky old white-haired man in his eighties. Old Man Elzer is often seen in his front lawn in the Residential District of Shelpey Alley. He's generally a nice person, but can act snappish toward reckless youngsters.
Chicken Dinner:
Real name and age unknown. A short man in his mid forties who brings his dinner (fried chicken) on a daily basis to eat in one of the public restroom stalls. Never speaks to anyone.
The Crazy Lady:
Institute-worthy. Yells at random about anything and everything, to anyone or anything. Has a habit of spewing curse words at the general public while she passes. Has demonstrated strange behavior on occasion, such as crawling along the sidewalk or reciting stories to benches. She claims that the gangs are made up of people that can change into animals. Naturally, no one believes her; not even when she says she's seen them change.
Jet:
Sketchy, black-haired, twenty five year old with numerous piercings. Alleged drug dealer. Hangs out in the shady stores on the Dock, approaching teenagers with a toothy grin and his tagline of "hey, kid! Guess what I've got?" Is persistent if you start a conversation with him; the best advice is to avoid eye contact and not talk to him.
Officer Douglas:
Officer Maves's partner on the police force. Pretty laid-back guy. Slightly overweight with a bald head, in his mid-forties. He suspects that the gangs aren't all that normal, but doesn't know anything beyond that. He and his partner generally patrol around the Downtown District.
Officer Maves:
Officer Douglas's partner on the police force. A much more stern and serious man in his mid-fifties, with a thin, drawn face and brown moustache to match his short-cut brown hair. He doesn't take any fooling around. He and his partner generally patrol around the Downtown District.
Mrs. Maves:
A kind woman in her forties. Feeds all kinds of stray animals in front of her house. She unknowingly feeds Shifters, and is a good source of news for the gangs, considering that her husband is in the police and deals with them constantly.
Hannah Benson:
A young adult that is very flirtatious. She is rather sexy and will hit on almost any guy, unbeknown in attempts to shoo her away . She works down at the Coffee Shop, but occasionally can be seen walking through the Residential District or the Beach. As a character she is definitely one to gossip, though shifters go beyond her knowledge.
Farmer John Doe:
A grouchy farmer who lives on his own farm on the outskirts of town. He carries a shotgun with him at all times and waves it around at kids who come too close. He has a female Collie named Cleo who keeps him company. Cleo loves to gossip, and though she doesn't know about the shifters, she knows the animals' whereabouts and their chatter.
Principal Cleary:
Head of the school. He's an agreeable and even considerate person on the surface but is all about rules and regulations. Rather strict, he doesn't take too kindly to funny business. Get on his bad side and there are many detentions to come. His goal is to mold the students for their future. The students often like to mock him and use his name as a joke.
Quentin Sheely:
Extremely tall and lanky, with unkempt brown hair. The main problem behind the shifters. He has brought shifters to the attention of the police and science community. Most think he's mad, and albeit he is, and lonely, though married. He takes his time wandering around Shelpey Alley. Watch out though, he is not a person you would like to talk to.
Don Rafael Luccian:
Mafia boss of Shelpey Alley, though not biological son of the old boss; buff, blond, well-tanned with many scars. Soft-hearted with his children Alexx and Daemian (role played by Azzura), but hides it behind a gruff exterior. Frequently deals with Rohjyx, the leader of the Assassins. Is aware of shifters as he is one himself, shifting into a King cobra. Has a respectable business that's mainly for show which covers his mafia job.
