Djakael's Human Form: Djakael stands tall at 6'5" with spiky auburn hair with black tips, sky blue eyes, and a well-built body. His favorite outfit is a gray wife-beater and baggy black pants with a silver-studded black leather belt and old white sneakers. He always has two sweatbands around his wrists, both of which are smokey gray with a black stripe going around the middle.Personality:
Djakael's Shifted Form: Djakael's Shifted form is lean but strong. His mane and tail are long and thick while the rest of his fur is short and thick. The coloration of his coat is, at best, unusual. (According to my best friend, Alli, it looks like he jumped in a paint can LOL!)The base color is black while it has splotches of auburn, white, and other colors. Around his front left leg, he has a black sweatband. His front left leg has a gray clothe bracelet that has three thin metal bands in it that hold it comfortably halfway between his paw and 'elbow'. His back right leg has a black sleeve on it that covers half of his paw and goes halfway up his leg while just above his knee on his back leg is a black string that's been wrapped around four times.
Djakael is very optimistic and easy-going, although he can be serious. He tends to stay out of things and watches from a distance, so he's usually a good neutral source to ask advice from. He loves having friends and is always up for playing or hanging out. All in all, he's a very outgoing person. Because of his laid-back nature, he doesn't usually become angered, but when he does, depending on how mad he is, will determine how scary he is. If he's seeing-red furious, which is almost non-existent, run. If he's angry, you may get a passionate and adamant little speech from him or he may be too angry to say anything, and you'll get it later, once he's calmed down. If he's annoyed, don't worry. The worst you'll get then is a smack upside the head or a snapped, "Shut up." or "Leave me alone." or "Go away. Now.". And if he's only slightly peeved, don't even worry. As long as he's still joking with you, you don't have to worry about anything. Just don't make him more angry, if only for the sake of not having to listen to him rant for however long. He can go for hours if he feels strongly enough for it.History:
Djakael was born into a family of four; his mom, dad, and older sister. Although he was loved, he knew from an early age that his parents favored his older sister, Lacuna, over him. He didn't really mind, having not really cared for much of anything even when he was young and having had gotten over it once he was old enough to do so, and so got on with his life. He found out he could shapeshift at a young age and, knowing his family wouldn't really care, didn't bother to tell them.Sample:
As he grew older, he spent more and more time away from home and in his Shifted form. Of course, he only ever spent ten hours at most. He didn't want to risk something happening and him not being able to shift back into his human form.
When he turned 18, he moved out of his parents' house. They didn't try to stop him. He'd graduated school a year early due to skipping a grade and was taking all of his college courses online. He was even paying for his own apartment and college! He was studying to be an artist, and so was constantly equipped with a pencil, eraser, and sketchbook.
Due to his intelligence, he skipped the first year and first half of the second year of college and breezed through the second half. He decided against going into his third year, and so is now spending his days in leisure. He's made enough money selling his drawings to be able to survive half the school year without having to dip into his school funds. He tends to spend time in his fox form around the town, not really wanting to stay cooped up inside his home.
Djakael yawned as he opened his eyes, having decided to take a nap by the harbor, in a secluded little patch of warm sunlight. Not feeling like getting up just yet, he laid still, stretched out, in the fading sun. Glancing up, he guessed the time was almost 7:15, judging by where the sun was and how dark it was getting.Other:
The shadows eagerly cloaked him once the sun was too far down.
Sighing, Djakael pulled himself to his paws and shook his fur out, swiftly jerking his tail from side to side in order to make sure nothing was in it. Sitting back on his haunches, he curled his tail around himself to watch the sun melt into the water. He committed the sight to his memory, wanting to paint it when he got back home.
Only when darkness surrounded him did he finally rise to his paws and begin to pad away, headed home. He lifted his snout to the dark sky, smiling slightly and committing the moon to his memory as well. He'd do a mixture of them both, Sunset and Moonrise, when he got home. He could already envision it in his head. The brilliant flames of the sun, the gorgeous icy cold rays of moonlight, mixing together into something breath-taking. Excited, he took off sprinting for home. He wasn't too far. He arrived at an alley near his apartment complex in minutes and slowed to a loose trot, all the while shifting back into his human form. He didn't miss a step. He kept a smooth jog all the way up the stairs to his apartment, where he stopped and unlocked his door before walking inside. He kicked the door shut and absentmindedly locked it behind him, dropping his keys on the doorside table and kicking his shoes off when he paused to flip on the lights. He glanced around his home, sniffing for anything out of the ordinary as had become his usual habit, and nodded almost subconsciously to himself when he found nothing out of order. He strode purposefully through his living room, into the second bedroom that he had turned into his work room. He painted, sketched, colored, everything, there.
He smirked slightly to himself in amusement as he saw his easel and a fresh page standing beside the window. A table with all of his supplies stood beside it, ready and patiently waiting to be used. He rolled his sleeves up to his elbows and in no time at all was deeply engrossed in his picture. Hours passed, and still he painted. Only when the sun began to rise again did he finally put his brush down for good, having finished it. He looked it over critically and nodded happily in approval.
"Wonderful!" He smiled to himself, wiping sweat away from his forehead with the back of his hand. Paint spread across his face anyways, and he laughed to himself. "Time for a shower, I guess," he laughed again, walking out of the room towards his only bathroom. He stopped at the closet on the way, pulling out a thick, fluffy black towel before continuing on.
The only thing else I have to say is he's not a genius or anything, he just has no life and so spent all his time studying. That's why he skipped a two and a half years all together. And his tattoo is on his left wrist, which is one of the reasons he always wears wrist bands. It's blood red in color. Oh, and I have actual drawn pictures of him!
