(Oops... it's supposed to be "Not, many...blah, blah blah" ...Sorry...Just noticed)
This time, she glanced over at him only when he spoke the first time, rather simply smiling at the second statement. She wasn't all that young. True, she wasn't even twenty yet, the point at which she'd be allowed to say that she's old...but, not yet. Despite of that, she always thought of herself as much older then she really was. Why, how ever, always remained a question for Flames.
"I think the guy would have been afraid of a little puppy if he had growled at him, at that point..." Flames smirked a little, before she glanced over her shoulder. No one was fallowing... yet... That was good. Something of an encouragement... Though, not too much of it, still. Now, so long as she can hang with the kid, they'll be fine. Ok, so she'll be fine... but that's a different story.

"I think the guy would have been afraid of a little puppy if he had growled at him, at that point..." At this she smiled and glanced behind them. Damien raised his eyebrows in confusion, but said nothing and kept looking forward. "Looking for something?" He politely asked. Most people probably would've just stayed quiet, but it was an honest question. Maybe she was looking for something. He wasn't exactly sure, woman were out of his league.
As they quietly walked one, Damien's thoughts traced back to his original thoughts. Where to go... well, brining someone to Amber's house uninvited wouldn't be right so that was out of the question. He didn't really want to ask her somewhere, as it might sound like he liked her. The boy did, but not the... like like way... you know? His mouth slanted in thought, maybe I should just take her to the beach? What would I say to that though...
He thought of the things he could've been doing. Defiantly not a swim. The sun was high in the blue sky, but he didn't like water all the much. He wasn't sure how his other feline friend could even stand water. He was sure all cats hated the feeling of water dragging down your fur. He frowned and said to himself, OK. Just a trip to look at the ocean. That was simple enough, and it was something he would do. With a destination on his mind, Damien confidently walked on.

Flames blinked glancing at him, in slight surprise, though quickly hid it
'Uh, no... not really, just kind of looked back..."Flames srugged, not quite sure what to answer to that. But, but she did find it rather ironic, how two people, who know nothing of each other, but each other's name, simply beat a grown man like that, even tthough tere wasn't much to beat, were walking down the street side by side, both away in their seprete thtoughts.
It took her a bit to realize that his steps became more confident then before, which to say the lleast got her curious.
'So, where are you headed to?"

"So, where are you headed to?" Damien was glancing around, looking for the turn he was sure not to miss. Without even a glance, he replied, "To the beach, I heard it's supposed to look nice today." He sighed and recalled the rain, "Even after all that rain," he added after a moments hesitation. Just as he made the remark, Damien abruptly turned around a compact building of some sort.
It's walls were rotten with age and the wood was paled. The windows were shattered and there were no lights on. It almost had an eerie effect, but the shining sun helped enlightening the scene. I wonder who lives there... Damien's thoughts wandered. He shook his curious ideas away and trudged on toward his destination.
It was all a matter of weather she would follow or not now. If she followed, what would they do? He really just planned on watching the waves roll in and out-to see the waves rush upon the land and sink back within the depths of the ocean. What if she didn't come? Would he care? He took a moment to think, not really. They weren't that close and had just met. Sure they talked, but that didn't really make them friends.

"The rain..." Flames echoed, as she looked up, her hood sliding back down. With an anoyed growl she pushed it back in place, that was teh one thing she hated about hoods. They kept going everywhere, but where you'd want them to stay. Though, even then they were pretty usefull. "Sounds interesting..." She anounced, as a continuation to the though of going to the beach, even though her replies had no connection to each other...
She usially didn't like the beach, though, only when it was sunny out, and the tempreture super hot. Which, in her case was rather ironic, with her being a snake and all.. .but she still highly disliked the extreme ends of the scale.

"The rain..." Damien curious glanced to the side as she trailed off his words. Damien usually strayed away from girls, even though he was a teen, he wasn't really attracted to any of them... except one. He flicked off his thoughts and concentrated harder on the present. This girl definitely confused him though. Next to him, his ears caught a light grumble of annoyance.
"Sounds interesting..." She said aloud. He sighed, this conversation was getting no where. Damien shook his hair out of his eyes and gazed ahead. Close to the horizon he could make out the sparkling gleams of sand. The waves rolled on the shore like a dog's tongue and the colors mixed with various hues of blues and greens. High up, birds were circling the water for fish to eat.
His eyes scanned the beach. There were very few people considering that it just rained. The shore was littered with loose rocks and sticks and the water was murky with mud. That was okay though, it wasn't like he was going to suddenly jump in. He stopped right at the edge with his shoes leaving imprints in the sand. "Finally! I guess it looks okay."
"I mean, it's not like were jumping in, right?" Or at least, he wasn't. Damien couldn't really say for the girl, maybe she did like swimming in the ocean. She didn't really seem like the type though, then again, he wasn't good at reading people, that was Amber's job. Damien squinted against the beating heat and yet again, began walking toward the water to get a closer look.
