Tameri nodded when Amber suggested a change of location. Yeah that'd be a good idea. Seeing as how they were in public. Despite not having been around shifters much, Tameri knew the golden rule: don't tell anyone. She followed the black-haired girl back towards the very tree in which they met. Tameri wasn't very practiced in climbing trees but she would manage. Tameri wondered if this time they would both get stuck up the tree. Ha! That would be lovely.
She waited and watched at the base of the tree as Amber nimbly pulled herself up onto the second or third tier of branches. Taking mental notes, Tameri prepared herself to do just as Amber had to ascend the tree. With almost a cat-like grace of her own kind, Tameri mimicked Amber and was able to reach the same branch without too much difficulty. The unused muscles in her arms complained a little, but the pain was nothing unbearable.
She sat atop the branch, her feet swinging nonchalantly over the edge. She rested her hand on the trunk of the tree. It felt reassuring to her. Now, tucking her black hair behind her ear Tameri looked to Amber, who seemed to have a lot to share. She listened politely, saving her questions for last. Her eyebrows raised a little when Amber had mentioned that the police had called the two 'organizations' gangs. Stealing? Tameri didn't know if she'd need to be in a guild. She had everything she could ask for. She felt a little remorseful just then. Did Amber have a home?
Thieves and Assassins. Tameri didn't really feel a strong connection towards any of the two. But then again, how could she? She'd just heard about the. The idea of being in a guild did intrigue Tameri. She could have friends and alliances and people she could trust. Tameri nodded with comprehension when Amber clarified that you didn't have to steal or kill. Well, that was a relief. Sort of. The Egyptian continued to listen. So Amber was aligned with the Thieves? She silently wondered what made her chose one guild over the other. Oh. The Assassins were strict and uptight. Tameri absorbed all the information Amber had offered to give her.
"Neither or good or bad..." Tameri mumbled to herself, looking down at her feet. ""This is interesting stuff. Thanks for telling me." Tameri thought for a moment. Should she join a guild? She kind of wanted to, now. "Is there a way to see what the guild is like? I mean, how did you decide to choose the Thieves over the Assassins?". It was a simple question, but Tameri was unsure whether she would get a straight answer. No matter. Amber had been more than helpful to her.
ooc- Hmm, you could invite one other person to bring into the roleplay. Anyone is fine with me, of course. We could relocate the roleplay too if need be.
