Trinell smiled as Lynn slid out of Djakael's shirt and onto the sand, her face buried in it. She clicked her tongue gently, kneeling down in front of the ferret, and spoke gently. "Come on, now, Lynn, don't be afraid. We're fine," She said, Djakael mimicking her movement.
"She's right, Lynn. I may have a few scratches here and there but it's nothing compared to what Trinell's given me before." He chuckled, laying his hand down before her. "Come on, hop up here and we'll take you somewhere so that you can Shift back without having to worry about being seen by the wrong people." He said gently, his hand not moving at all.
Trinell glanced over him at where she had seen Amber earlier, blinking as she watched her turn her head towards the buildings that you could just barely glimpse from where they were. "Hey, I'm gonna go see what's up with Amber, okay? You take care of Lynn, here." She said, smiling gently at Lynn. "Amber is the cat that you saw, so don't worry. She's a friend of ours." She said, turning and trotting into the trees that lined part of the beach.
A moment later and a jet black wolf came trotting out, headed for the cat that was perched on a boulder not too far away.
Trinell reached Amber in almost no time, being fairly fast even while trotting, and stopped next to her. "What's over there? I know you were watching us earlier." She asked, following Amber's gaze.
What she saw was a severely skinny fox. Her heart clenched, going out to the poor animal. Trinell hated to see any animal in the condition, let alone a member of the canine family. The poor thing looked horrible, to say the least.

Taavi's almond shaped orbs glanced quickly between the ferret and the boy. The vixen instinctively shrunk back away from the male figure as another face popped up. Her orbs widened fearfully at the hard face that seemed to dominate her mind. Her half wild souls sought out Trinell and Amber. She whimpered again, only this time with real fear. Taavi's mind slowly began to right it's self. 'It's okay Taavi. He's not your father. You can calm down,' she thought to herself.
Taavi lowered herself in a submissive crouch, her dirty white belly fur brushing the ground. She carefully took a limping step forward, then stopped, unsure of what to do. Should she let them know what she was? That she was a shifter like them? Or should she just pretend to be a random animal, that didn't speak human? Taavi, carefully considered both options before deciding that they would be more likely to help a simple creature then a human who could walk to a hospital for help.
In reply to Amber's question, Taavi just whimpered again, and gingerly lowered herself on the ground. She carefully laid her head on her paws, being careful not to jostle her self inflicted wound.

Amber’s ears pinned to her head as she realized that the fox was more scared than she first thought. As Amber spoke, the creature lowered herself to the ground; tail curled under her stomach. She sighed while an awkward silence picked up. “What’s over there? I know you were watching us earlier.” Amber let out a squeal of surprised and tilted her head towards whatever came up. Glancing to her side, she realized it was just Trinell in her murky black wolf form. Heaving a sigh of relief, she opened her mouth to explain, but realized she had already noticed their little guest. Amber knew Trinell was very kind and willing to help, but she wasn’t so sure that the vixen would like another animal around; especially a bigger one.
She picked up her paw to move and slightly pushed the wolf away with her body. Amber caught Trinell’s look and silently pleaded her to understand the situation; that maybe it would be better for only Amber to be here. She needed something to do, so she leaned up on her toes and whispered just loud enough for Trinell and whispered, “I’ll stay here. You get some food.” She didn’t know how Trinell would manage it, but Amber had faith in her and knew she would deal with it.

Lynn remained where she lay stiffly, as Trinell spoke softly. She wasn’t afraid of them; on the contrary, she was relieved. As Trinell knelt in front of her, she dug her muzzle deeper, wanting to conceal herself. It was simply instinct to Lynn, when she felt uncomfortable or embarrassed she craved to be hidden. And she especially wasn’t used to being treated in a manner like this, the comforting made her feel awkward and out of place. Her previous adrenaline was replaced by anxious weariness.
Her new found tiredness was accompanied by relief, relief to have found such a large group of people like herself. Retracting her head slightly, enough to see, she watch the midnight wolf trot by in silent awe. Once she judged that Trinell was far enough to not overhear, Lynn whispered softly to Djakael, “Sorry.” Hoping that his back wasn’t scratched up too bad.
She made no movement towards his hand, she had no intent to shift back at the moment, and she was content as a ferret in the midst of other shifters, an opportunity she rarely held. Lazily, she pondered where the wolf had disapeared to, as well as what had happened to the cat.

Taavi pulled back as Amber's ears pinned back. She wasn't sure if she should take in an aggressive way. Taavi glanced at the large wolf, and felt her heart stop for a split second. Then she realized it was just the one girl with the deadly hands and feet. She felt her heart stop a second time. She pulled back further, not sure what to expect, especially since Trinell was so comfortable in the presence of a man.
Taavi swallowed her fear, and stood up.
"I'm Taavi."
She whispered.
"And, it's okay. She can stay."
She said towards Trinell. The femme's fearful orbs still followed the cat and wolf warily, although 'exhaustion' was starting to make the vixen's limbs to shake.
OhOhSea://
Okay, well you know how animals have their own language? Such as they grunt, squeal, bark, yap, etc. Well, when the words are white, Taavi is speaking in animalese...(Which makes her seem like she's not a Shifter) When they are the same color as the rest of the text, she's speaking human(AKA english).
Oh yeah, and when I put an action in these '' Taavi is usually faking it. So when I say " 'exhaustion' made her limbs tremble" Taavi isn't really about to collapse from exhaustion...She's just an insanely good actress ^^

Djakael smiled, shaking his head, and stared down at Lynn. Carefully, so as to make sure not to hit her, he sat down beside her, never moving his hand except to put it in a more comfortable position.
"Don't worry about it, I'm fine." He assured. He really was, too. Sure, he could feel the tiny wounds and he knew that he would have to throw away his shirt if he couldn't get the bloodstains out. They weren't much, just little drops, but there were a lot of them. More than he could pass off as an art mishap. Chuckling, he leaned back, his free arm propping his body up.
Trinell blinked, about to go off hunting, when she heard the fox speak, fear in her voice.
"I'm Taavi." She was silent for a moment, then said, "And, it's okay. She can stay." Her body trembled, making Trinell whine for a moment. She looked pleadingly at Amber, then started for the fox.
"I'm Trinell, and this is Amber." She said quietly, knowing the fox could hear her. She padded closer. "And those two back there are Djakael and Lynn, my friends. They aren't coming over here, though." She added, about twenty feet from the vixen now.
In no time at all, she was a few feet away from the mangled vixen, her eyes pained. It hurt her to see even a stranger in that condition.
"I can go hunting for you, if you'd like. Is there anything in particular you'd like? I might be able to find it for you." She said, thinking of all the Scouts she could find just around the harbor to help her.

Slowly but surely the fox came out of her shell and whispered, "I'm Taavi." So we finally know who she is, but her name... she licked her lips as if tasting the word. It sounds human. A shifter maybe? Go away, she thought simply yet agressively. After a moments hesitation she quietly added, "And, it's okay. She can stay."
It doesn't really look that way, but Amber would be ok for whatever she would like. Let her get more confortable, then they could all seriously talk. As her limbs started shaking though, Amber's eyes widened in alarm. She could feel her muscles tighten, ready to catch her in case she fell. More injuries would not help.
Luckily, she managed to stand though. Trinell, who seemed oblivious, began slowly padding forward as to not scare her and softly introduced them. When Amber heard her name, she nodded in silent greeting, waiting for her companion to go on. "I can go hunting for you, if you'd like. Is there anything in particular you'd like? I might be able to find it for you."
Purring in agreement, Amber added, "Or if you'd rather, I could go with her." It wasn't a high chance that she would suggest this, but they were both from the canine family. However, Amber was nearly half the size of Trinell, and no matter, the fox was still bigger than her; even in her starved state.
Amber's tail unconciously sweeped across the ground, scattering tiny pieces of dust. They didn't travel far though and soon settled down on the ground once more. A quiet sneeze escaped her mouth before she could even stop it. Despite the atmosphere, Amber chuckled to herself and sheepishly grinned at her company. "Whoops."

Taavi's auds perked forwards at the sounds of voices. She hadn't heard anyone speak for quite sometime. The wolf's vocal's were kinda musky, but were still gorgeous. They had haunting, silvery quality, much like a Gaviidae. Amber's voice, on the other hand, had a higher lilting voice. It reminded Taavi of a Icteridae. Both were soothing, in their own way. Shaking these thoughts from her mind, Taavi concentrated on what they were saying, rather then just the sound of their voices. "I'm Trinell, and this is Amber." the wolf said. At her reference to the interesting ferret and the man, all she could do was shudder violently.
Taavi turned just in time to see Trinell to start coming towards her, she 'started' to step back, but then stopped and let Trinell approach her. Auds perked forwards, eagerly drinking up the warmth that filled Taavi's tones.
"I don't care what I eat. B-but I'd feel bad if I let you wait on me. I'll come too."
Taavi's 11 inch frame stood taller at the thought of food. She stepped carefully forwards, trying to ignore her injured fore paw. When Amber sneezed, Amber smiled weakly inspite of herself.

“So what can you shift into?” Lynn’s tailed curled inward as Djakael sat beside her. Her words were still as quiet as before. Without turning to look at Djakael she stood and shook her fur, removing herself from her gloominess. “And who exactly is Amber?” She closed her eyes to see the small black cat watching her, the exact one that had caused her to slip and mess up. Her miniature teeth began to grind silently, wondering why she wanted to take her anger out on the cat, when it was her own fault.
Lynn stood, resting on her back legs as she stretched her creamy torso. Damn. They were out of sight, at least from this close to the ground. Stretching her head back to look at Djakael, she quickly turned again after catching a glance and then dropped to her paws elegantly. Swiftly, Lynn turned around and scurried under Djakael’s leg, her back end exposed.

Trinell stared skeptically down at Taavi as she said that she would come with. With an injured paw and about to collapse, she would go hunting. Right.
"No, you stay here with Amber. She can take care of your paw. Besids, I have a few good pairs of eyes around here that wouldn't take long to find." She said with a wink, smirking. There was no way she was going to let Taavi try to hunt in her condition. No way in Hell.
Looking down at Amber, Trinell blinked. "You don't mind that, do you Amber?" She asked, not wanting to seem rude. "I assume you know how to take care of wounds, no?" She added, speaking to Amber.
Djakael smiled down at the little ferret beside him, not moving. "I Shift into a fox, but I'm not like an regular fox." He said, grinning. "My form is kind of... odd. My pelt is very unusually colored, so you'll know me when you see me. There's no way another fox could ever have my coloration." He chuckled, amused by his own Shifted form.
He watched Lynn rear up, looking around for Trinell and Amber, only to glance up at him and drop to her paws before dashing under his leg, hind end out in the open.
He laughed and poked her tail, saying, "You okay?"
