"Sounds like I've forgotten stuff, too," Alex laughed apologetically, then continued with the briefing.
"Okay, so our meeting places are in the Subway Tunnels, the old Fairground, when it's not open in the summer, and we also have a warehouse staked out as our territory. It's actually not that hard to get to the subway tunnels: there are grates that lead down there all over the city. Actually, one of them is in an alley pretty close to the shops on the beachfront. There are little markers that no one would ever suspect of leading you to our meeting place, but they do. Just keep an eye out for them if you're down there. The fairgrounds are pretty easy to get into, just look out for the occasional guard. And the warehouse...well, we're still staking it out to make sure we know exactly when they're being used. And so, if we ever need to call a meeting, don't worry: you'll know about it.
"The Asses are our enemy guild," he almost hesitated, remembering his talk with Roscoe, the Second in Command of said Guild, "We're not too sure of their hideouts, but it's too risky to go find out, and it doesn't matter all too much. Just try to keep away from them: some are straight-headed enough not to attack without reason, but some others are...well, I think you get the idea. We don't know much vital information about them, and thankfully, they don't know much about us."
Alex glanced up in a sort of concentration face. "Okay, so now I think we've got everything. What would I do without Trinell...?" He chuckled and winked in her direction.

Amber chuckled softly along with Alex at his procrastination. Each time Alex mentioned a place; Amber mentally wrote it on a sticky pad and pictured where everything was. As he educated her on the subway entrance, she knew exactly where he was talking about. She’d passed the tags a few times back, but never bothered to go down. All that was expected was people waiting for the subways, and a few tunnels.
For a moment Amber was wondered how she would know when a meeting would be held, but Alex came to her rescue and informed her. As he told her about them also having hideouts, she mused of the possibilities. Maybe their hideouts are like ours, in warehouses or underground. When he finally finished his explanation, Amber had one question left, “Ok so, when we do have meetings, how will I know? Will someone tell me, or is there a secret sign or something?”

The fox made a dramatic pose and regarded Amber with a sly grin. "Oh, we have our ways. They have to be different each time, or else the Assassins will pick up on them. Just know that you will get the message," he ended with a fake evil laugh, being in a very good mood. Today was going well for him.

Trinell laughed as Alex finished briefing Amber on all she had reminded him of, the fox saying, "Okay, so now I think we've got everything. What would I do without Trinell...?" He laughed and winked at her, Trinell smirking and winking back while saying, "Oh, you'd be totally screwed without me." She laughed again then fell silent, allowing Alex and Amber to talk a bit more.
She dozed off while they talked, completely relaxed and at peace. Today had been a good day. Just an all around good day.

"Yeah, probably," Alex laughed, knowing full well that it was 100 percent true. He held the title of Leader, but it was all the Thieves that made up for it. They really looked out for him, and in turn, he tried his hardest to lead the Guild to everyone's advantage. Like a family, he remembered telling Roscoe. All us misfits...we're a family,
OOC|| I know it's short, but I thought that maybe I could respond while we were waiting for Toki.

As everyone quieted down, the silence snuck up again, but this time it was a comfortable silence; like friends just finished laughing from a joke. Once Amber was sure everyone was finished their share of speaking, she stood up and stretched her spine until it seemed to practically loosen out. Licking her muzzle in thought, she asked what was on all their minds, “So… what now?”
Amber had plenty of things to do, those could wait, but what would they do now? She glanced down at Trinell as she fell into a light slumber. Smiling at her new friend, she decided to let her rest. Pulling her stare from Trinell, she gazed back at Alex who looked deep in thought. Well, I guess I should find something to think about. As she waited, Amber smiled at old memories when there was nearly nothing to fret about.
((Sorry it took so long, I was trying to think of something to come up but nothing came. -__-))

Trinell dozed for a few minutes longer, then suddenly snapped her eyes open, leaping to her paws not even a second later. Then she wobbled, dizzy. "Whooaaa... Head rush," She said, still a little wobbly. Her wide eyes stared ahed until she fully steadied, then she shook her head furiously, her eyes closed. "Anyways! Don't worry about my sudden jumping around; I just have too much energy to lay around sleeping." She wagged her tail dismissively. "Man, I wish Djakael was here... I wanna fight so bad!" She whined, laughing a barking laugh after a moment. ""Sorry, Amber. I love to fight. It's my life, other than my pack, of course." She said, nodding her head to Alex. "I'm a mixed martial artist, so don't get me mixed up with those stupid street brawlers. I like actually fighting, where I'm trying to destroy my opponent with techniques I know, nut just knockthem out with some lucky shot. I hate that." She apologized, a smile on her face. Unconsciously, her paws kneaded the ground, digging claws in occasionally. Then she turned to Alex, grinning. "Soooo... Have you seen Djakael anywhere around here recently? He's always up for a good fight." She asked, barely contained excitement in her voice and dancing in her eyes. It took all she had not to bounce around her leader like some kid in a candy shop.

Alex glanced between Amber and Trinell as the wolf bounded to her paws with a sudden-found urge to fight with Djakael. He cocked her head slightly, pricking up his ears.
"I haven't seen him lately, but didn't he say something about heading out toward the warehouse? You might be able to find him there," the fox offered.

Trinell nodded, suddenly remebering. "Oh yeah! He did say that, didn't he? Well, I may as well check it out. Either of you want to come?" She said, looking back and forth between the two. "I may stop by his house if he's not there, ya know? Maybe he went into one of his crazy artist phases." She laughed.
OOC||: I know! We need something to happen in this rp, ya know? So that we can get some longer posts *sighs* I could put a fight between DJ and Trinell, if that works with yall?

Amber jumped slightly just as the wolf sprang up on her paws. What happened to sleep? Surprised, a small hiss escaped her lips, but nonetheless it was ignored. Heaving a sigh or relief, Amber listened to Trinell’s ramblings. On and on she went. Trinell seemed to have no boundaries to energy. In a slight way, it reminded her of Ink. A pang of guilt hit her stomach, but it soon vanished. He wasn’t a shape shifter, he couldn’t find out anyway. He’s just a friend.
“I haven’t seen him lately, but didn’t he say something about heading out toward the warehouse? You might be able to find him there.” Alex suggested. Twisting her head towards Alex, she heard his words loud and clear. The warehouse huh? One of the Thieves hang out you know? The voice reminded her. Uh. Not you again, I thought you left. Too bad so sad, learn to deal with it. As Amber was just about to reply, a voice cut into her thoughts, “Either of you want to come?”
Quickly jumping to the opportunity for a distraction, she nimbly hopped to her paws and exclaimed, “I’ll come.” It was simple and got to the main point. She desperately needed a distraction from her “second mind” and it would be good to meet some members and get to know them. They could save my life someday. Besides, Amber wanted to see how well they fought, and wanted to see if she could match their abilities.
