Amber smiled and giggled at their jokes. At least they aren't as uptight as some people were; more laid back like me. Amber's ears stretched forward as he went on, "She's not lying. He's passed out right now, though. Tough week." He wasn't very descriptive. What did he look like? How old? Did he have a home? How long has he been passed out? Was he a shifter? Amber's body visibly shook with excitement. So many new Fangs and Claws to meet in one day! She opened her muzzle to speak, but was abruptly cut off by Trinell, "Wait a minute! Does Chase know about the Guilds?" It was a loud exclamation, probably just floated into her mind. But... it was a good question. Did he know about the guilds?
"I honestly don't know if he knows about them or not, to tell the truth. I'll have to ask him about it later. He may want to join." Djakael responded to her with a smirk. He looked deep in thought for a moment. Trinell smirked at his expression and leaned in slightly and said to Amber, "Yeah, after he finds out you're crazy bum is in it. Don't you agree, Amber? That boy Chase, sweetheart that he is, just adores Djakael here." Turning back to Djakael, she beamed a proud smile at her companion whose face was now flushed in embarrassment.
Alex must have thought it was time to cut in their pointless joking, "Passed out?! What did you do to him, Djakael?! Hit him over the head with something? Or did you flash a smile at him and stunned him with your dazzling teeth?" Amber had to hold back a laugh at that. So much taunting... she snickered at the thought. It commonly reminded her of what she always did with Ink; now she sort of knew how he felt. Still... it was funny. "Chase doesn't know about the guilds, you think. Don't mention that you're a Thief until you're sure he's not an Assassin. We have to be careful about anyone we don't know well enough to the point that you could follow their footsteps with eyes closed."
Ah, good ol' Alex. Always wanting to have information. The thought alone reminded Amber of herself. She loved to get into anything. Gossip and rumors are OK, if you have the evidence; but they're always a start! So summoned everything up in one little bundle. "Ok... so there's a guy passed out in the next room and you want to ask him to join the guild if he's not in the Assassins." She skeptically raised an eyebrow at Djakael. He was obviously missing the important information; at least, he wasn't sharing it. Amber sighed; how dull men could be. "Is he even a shifter?" She didn't mean for her response to come out like she thought he was stupid, but more of a sarcastic comment. Hopefully the boy would be able to tell the difference.

Djakael chuckled sheepishly, scratching the back of his head, and let Alex and Amber speak, not wanting to interrupt. They both seemed kind of... shocked about Chase being passed out and he really couldn't blme them.
"Heh heh, well.... I really should have worded that better," He said, offering a shrug and sheepish smile. "What I should have said was that Chase is exhausted and so is sleeping deeply in his room." He shook his head, amused.
"And I understand, Alex. I won't risk the Guild." He said, catching Trinell's soft smile. He shot her a twin smile. "As for your question, Amber, yes, he is a Shifter. I actually found him in his Shifted form." He said, sighing.
Trinell blinked. "How is he looking? Has he gained any weight since I last saw him?" She asked, genuinely concerned. Chase had been much too thin in her last visit and she could see it just by looking at him. He needed food, healthy food, and a lot of it. He desperately needed to gain back his weight.
Djakael thought for a moment then smiled slightly. "Yeah, he's looking better. He's gained a little bit more weight since the last time you were here." He said, Trinell nodding approvingly. Good. Very, very good. She voiced her thoughts, then added, "I'm going to see for myself." At Djakael's worried look, though, she rolled her eyes and said, "And don't worry, you nut. I won't wake him up."
Standing, she left the living room and headed down the hall, disappearing from sight. Chase and Djakael's rooms were directly across from each other, Chase's on the left and Djakael's on the right, and so when Trinell quietly opened Chase's bedroom door and peered inside only to find it empty she blinked. The sheets were mussed and crinkled, showing someone had been sleeping on it, but there was no one using it at the moment.
Confused, she checked Djakael's room only to chuckle as she found Chase fast asleep in Dj's bed, curled up and sleeping peacefully. 'How cute,' She thought, smiling a soft, maternal smile. Her motherly instincts constantly took over her whenever she was near Chase. He just seemed like he needed that kind of gentle caring.
Amused, she shook her head with a light chuckle and carefully shut Dj's door, making sure not to make a lot of noise. She didn't want to wake Chase when he was so blissfully oblivious.

"Stalker-Trinell," Alex rolled his eyes as the girl persisted about going to check on Chase. Alex was curious about who he was: did he know about the Guilds? What kind of animal form did he have? Would Chase be interested in joining the Thieves? Did he know anything about the Assassins that could be useful to them? The questions blurred through his mind and he yawned, pushing them aside without once voicing them. He'd wait and ask each one when the time was right. Like, maybe when Chase was awake, for one?
"So, I was thinking it was about time we had another meeting," Alex mused out loud, sitting up and rubbing his chin with a forefinger. "It's been a while since our last one, and we've gained a few new members since then. And...things have come up that I think we should talk about," he trailed off, thinking about the reports of shapeshifters in the area that didn't belong to either Guild. A few here and there were fine, but there were so many at the moment.
Were they a new Guild in the area? Where were they all coming from? Did they have intentions about the Thieves, or Assassins, for that matter? Did they even know about the Guilds?
...Was Chase part of this new Guild...?
Alex shook his head. Once more, his mind had run off on its own. No, there was most likely no threat of another Guild. But even more worrisome than the sudden appearance of many shapeshifters was the scientific reports that followed them. Apparently, somewhere there was a leak in their secret lives, and if a curious scientist found out...well, they'd be in some big trouble...

((Sure, she can join. ^^))
Amber titled her head in deep thought. What kind of things would there be at the meeting? How many shapeshifters would there be? Amber stared at the door in which Trinell walked off. Amber flicked her ear curiously and looked at Djakael and asked, "What is his shifted form?" While she waited, she finally glanced around the room. (Insert description; it was never described so... just pretend I described it. xD)
"So, I was thinking it was about time we had another meeting." He paused to rub his chin with a finger. "It's been a while since our last one, and we've gained a few new members since then. And...things have come up that I think we should talk about," he trailed off into his own thoughts. Amber didn't want to bother him, but she figured he did that a lot. "Like what things?" Hopefully none of them bad, she prayed silently. Maybe to talk about jobs that need to be done? Or maybe there has been trouble with the other guild? Maybe there was a death? Amber shuddered at the mere thought. Hopefully not.
((Ah, sorry it's so short, not much to say...))

Djakael chuckled lightly as Alex muttered, "Stalker-Trinell" with a roll of his eyes and nodded his agreement. She was so like a mother when it came to her friends and family that it wasn't even funny.
...Okay, so it was funny but that wasn't the point. She just cared too much for her own good.
He shook his head, pulling himself out of his thoughts. Amber was asking him something. "What is his shifted form?"
Ahh, of course. He hadn't told them that yet, had he? "Ah, he's a wolf. He's quite large at that, too. He made Trinell look small." He laughed lightly. It was true. When Trinell had gotten him to Shift, he had practically dwarfed her. It had been pretty funny, to tell the truth.
Shaking his head once more, Djakael blinked and turned to look at Alex. Another meeting? Well... He was right. They hadn't had a meeting in a while, so it was definately wise to have one. But when? Therer were a lot of Shifter's in the Guild and it would take a while to find a time when they could all get together. Although, if they worked it right, most of them could come and then those who couldn't make it could be told the information later on. He nodded. "I'm almost always free, so just let me know when it is." He said with a smile. "And if I have time, I may be able to coax Chase into joining. I'll see if he knows anything about the Guilds later, after you guys leave so that he doesn't feel trapped or anything." He added, thoughtful. He blinked, then grinned. "Chase is a little... odd, I guess you could say." He said, scartching the back of his head sheepishly. He fell silent, allowing Amber to speak.
She looked familiar, somehow. Like he had seen her somwhere before but he couldn't remember when or where. 'The warehouse...? He asked himself slowly, thinking back to how he had met a little black and white cat named Amber that night. He blinked, almost slapping himself. 'My God! I must be half-asleep still or something! She looks exactly her!' Kicking himself mentally, he looked to Amber and said, "Sorry to interput, but you wouldn't have happened to be at a warehouse a few nights ago, would you?"
OOC||: I'M SO SORRY GUYS!!!! TT^TT I made you guys wait FOREVER for a reply!! TT^TT SORRRRRRRYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! *shotdead*

"Sorry to interrupt, but you wouldn't have happened to be at a warehouse a few nights ago, would you?" Amber blinked in surprise at his sudden question. She titled her head at his empty-headedness. He really just thought of that now? Amber unconsciously flicked her tail and thought of ways she could answer. Should she tell him the truth? There was no harm in it, but she could also mess with his head; just for the fun of it. All this talk of meetings and seriousness. She dully shook her head at the thought, these people really need some rainbows in their skies.
Amber forcefully pricked her ears high and widened her eyes in feigned surprise. "Well..." Wait! What should I say? I can throw him off a little and just plain out say I wasn't there, or I can say I was there, but doing something else... Amber slightly frowned; that is as much as a cat's face could manage. "I was there, but only for a few moments to get out of the wind. Why do you ask?" To add to the effect, she innocently blinked and turned back to the conversation at hand to make sure they hadn't gone on without them, but soon twisted back as she realized it was silent. Hopefully their conversation didn't bring up too much attention. She tightened her tail around her paws for comfort even though she knew it really did nothing.

"I was there, but only for a few moments to get out of the wind. Why do you ask?" Said Amber, blinking and turning back to Alex.
Djakael frowned ever so slightly, his eyes narrowing the slightest in thought. 'Liar.' He thought, watching her turn back towards him. Alex's silence was probably the reson. "Ri-ight... Well, I'm pretty sure I met you there. And, if I'm not mistaken, then you met Chase there as well. There was a... Danny there as well, correct?" He said, recalling the unusual boy. Someting about him had seemed... off, one could say. Djakael didn't like it, didn't trust it.
"What's with the tense atmosphere, guys? Yall should be laughing and having fun, not all serious and stuff." Said Trinell suddenly, the wolf having just entered the room. She plopped down on the floor, her elbows on the ground in front of her and her head in her hands. She craned her neck to see everyone. "Sooo... What'd I miss?" She grinned.
Djakael chuckled, shaking his head, and anwered her. "Well, Alex thinks we should have another meeting soon and we both agree. And Amber and I were just discussing how I think I've met her before and how I think she's met Chase as well. Remember how I explained Chase being here to you?" Trinell's mouth formed a small 'o', the girl understanding.
"Ohhh, okay. Well, I'm free all the time so just let me know when the meeting is. I'll be there. As for your discussion with Amber, well, do continue. I won't interrupt." She said, giving the pair a smile.
