Trinell hopped around for a moment as Amber said that she would come, ecstatic for no real reason. "Sweet! Leet's go! Let's go! Let's go!" She exclaimed, tail wagging furiously. Then she stopped. What about Alex? Turning to him, she blinked apologetically. "Sorry, Alex," She said. "Do you wanna come? Or do you have something else to do? You are the Leader, after all. It can't be an easy job." She added, smiling slightly.
Reigning herself in, she sat back down next to Amber. He body still showed all of the signs of her excitement; her pricked ears, bright eyes, thumping tail... All of it showed how energized and ready to go she was. She waited patiently for Alex's answer.

Alex stoof up and stretched. "I don't mind. Maybe I'll tag along after all. I've got nothing else to do, anyway." He laughed quietly at the statement: he was a Leader. He ALWAYS had something to do.
He shook out his midnight blue pelt and trotted after the cat and wolf, his mind running through thoughts.

Trinell nodded happily and, leaping to her paws, whirled around and took off at a steady trot for Djakael's apartment. It made no sense to go past it to the warehouse without checking it first. At least, it didn't make any sense to her.
She paid no heed to the people she passed or how most of them leapt to the side as if she had snapped at them when she neared. She only cared when she got closer to the apartment buildings near the neighborhood where a lot of Shifter's lived. Trinell herself knew a good bit of them.
Watching the numbers on the doors, Trinell veered sharply to the right and dashed up a few flights of stairs when she reached a certain number. Trotting down the oddly empty walkway, Trinell stopped at Djakael's door and reared back on her hind legs so that she could reach his doorbell. Carefully pushing it one with claw, Trinell dropped back down to all fours, then into a relaxed sitting position, her tail thumping happily.
The door opened to reveal Djakael half-asleep and half-dressed. He blinked sleepily down at them, yawning, and motioned them in. "Come on, get in here. The neighbors will wonder why a group of animals that are usually enemies are waiting to be let in," He mumbled around it, stepping aside and holding the door open for them. Trinell happily trotted through, making herself at home on his comfy couch while she waited.

Amber’s head unnoticeably tilted slightly. If he didn’t have anything to do right now, what does he do? She figured if she knew a lot of shifters, maybe they would know many many more. That would be a lot of work. Amber organized how much that would be in one day. Scouting, spying, meetings, collecting information, practice fighting, planning events. For a moment, she was overwhelmed. That didn’t even include regular every-day happenings!
Shaking the thought out of her head, she raced after the excited wolf. She didn’t know the way to this… ‘Djakael’. Could it be the same Djakael from the warehouse? It was an uncommon name, and they were near the same area. Shrugging, she followed Trinell obediently, but still paid heed to her surroundings. Maybe she didn’t know the way to Djakael’s place, but she did know her way around the harbor; every nook and cranny.
Amber’s ears flatted and she crouched lower when they reached a more crowded area. Everyone was staring at them. What if some of them know me from the restaurant? Amber wasn’t good to the idea of her father knowing she was in a guild, or… ‘gang’. Deciding it was worth it, she met the gazes of a few onlookers who soon turned away, and trailed onward.
When they finally reached their destination, Amber waited patiently to the side as the canine rang the doorbell. For a few seconds not even a sound was heard, but suddenly the door swung open. Standing at the entrance was the same Djakael. He wasn’t in his shifted form, but some things about a person never change. I should’ve known. Heaving a sigh, she felt small next to this human form. She lifted her head all the way up, nearly parallel to her legs, and stared at him.
He wasn’t even fully dressed. Unsure what to do, she snuck a quick glance inside. It was pretty tidy for an apartment. Their last meeting didn’t go so well and ended up with Chance and Djakael racing out the door. She never did find out what happened, but she wasn’t prepared to ask yet. Instead, she made up her mind and slowly trotted in. Amber leaped up next to Trinell and gracefully sat down with her tail curled upward as close to her as she could manage.

Alex followed Trinell's lead, passing the warehouse on the way. So he wasn't there. Ah, well. The fox absently trailed along after the cat and wolf, keeping to the shadows where he could. His fur, though mostly naturally colored, was a bit odd, and he didn't like attracting much attention when he could help it.
They veered off toward the residential districts and padded up the stairs to Djakael's door. The vulpine sat back on his haunches as Amber rang the doorbell, licking his paw and cuffing his ear quickly before the boy opened the door. Djakael greeted them sleepily and motioned them inside, and Alex slunk in after Trinell and Amber, who seemed a bit hesitant at first. She's really doing well, though. She'll make a good Thief.
With a quick thought back to the time, he wondered how long he had been in fox form. Since early this morning, when he had decided to follow Roscoe. That must have been a while ago, considering the time now. Probably about time to change back now.
He leapt gingerly from the floor with all four paws, and landed on the couch in human form, slouching to the side with his feet draped over the armrest.
"Hey, Djakael," he greeted the other, a grin splitting his face. "Haven't seen you around recently,"

Djakael yawned widely and grinned at his guests as they all padded into his hom, Trinell happily taking a seat on his soft couch. A small cat followed behind her, and then Alex, the fox Shifting as soon as he was inside.
Turning to face his friends, he kicked the door shut half-heartedly and walked up to them, plopping down on his lazy boy recliner and smiling.
"Hey, Djakael," Grinned Alex, feet propped up on the armrest of the couch. "Haven't seen you around recently," Djakael yawned, chuckling, and shook his head.
"Sorry, Alex. I've been a little busy lately." He said, Trinell Shifting suddenly and smirking slyly at him. He eyes gleamed darkly, and Djakael narrowed his sky blue eyes at her. "Don't you say a thing, Trinell. You may be better than me at fighting, but if you do I will beat you all over this apartment." He growled lowly, Trinell's smirk widening.
"How's your lover-boy Chase, dear Djakael? Last time I saw, you two were all lovey-dovey." She grinned, Djakael faking a punch and kicking her in the shoulder.
"You're so spoiled," Muttered Djakael crossly, a deep blush on his cheeks. He ignored her jib from then on and nodded to the feline, smiling pleasantly. "Hello, I'm Djakael. You are?" He paused. "I'm assuming this feline is a Shifter, am I correct?" He added, looking at Trinell and his Leader.

"'S fine. I've been," he hesitated when he thought of his encounter with Roscoe. He quickly briefed over the story they had fabricated- "up to stuff,"
"Ooh, what's this?" Alex demanded half mockingly, but serious all the same. "Trinell claims Djakael found someone?" he laughed, shifting his position so that he was facing the two play-fighting pair better. "I must know," he declared, feigning an exaggerated British accent. "And yes, we wouldn't just have a random cat follow us around, now would we? Amber, this is Djakael. Djakael, meet Amber, the newest to the Thieves!" He made a grand gesture to the quiet feline who sat next to him on the couch. As a side note, he added quietly, "Amber, you can Shift to human form if you feel like it, but you don't have to."

Amber waited patiently, tail flicking, as everyone settled in. She slightly jumped when Alex suddenly landed on the couch next to her in his original form. Amber wondered herself how long she was in her own animal form. Let's see... I woke up... ate... shifted... and sat outside... not much. So a few hours, but not nearly long enough for her to be stuck in this form. Nodding in acceptance, she turned an ear toward the conversation. "-a random cat follow us around, now would we? Amber, this is Djakael. Djakael, meet Amber, the newest to the Thieves!" He flicked a hand to where Anmber slouched next to Trinell; who appeared to have shifted too.
After introductions he whispered loud enough for only Amber to hear; and maybe Trinell if she was paying attention, "Amber, you can Shift to human form if you feel like it, but you don't have to." Unsure whether or not he would understand her in her animal form, she nonchalantly shrugged. She just thought about that a few minutes ago, no need to worry. On a second though, Amber didn't want to seem afraid; she was just neutral. "I'm fine." She muttered before turning to Djakael to simply nodded her head at him in recognition.

Djakael, blushing, scowled at Trinell once more before faking a kick for her head with his left leg, hitting her in the shoulder instead with his right. Trinell grinned from ear to ear, proud of herself.
Turning to his Leader, he nodded. "She's not lying," He said. "He's passed out right now, though. Tough week," He said, chuckling with dry humor.
Shaking his head, he shook off his exhaustion and smiled at his guests. "So, why again did you all come? You said something about a fight, right Trin?" He asked, Trinell nodding and beaming.
"Yup! I want a fight with you. Here. Now. No holds barred. The usual." She said, a mischievous light in her eyes. "I asked them if they wanted to come and they did, so that's why they're here." She added, jerking her head at her Leader and the newest Thief. Thieves.... Chase.... Wait a minute!
"Wait a minute! Does Chase know about the Guilds?" She asked suddenly, Djakael blinking and staring at her in surprise for a moment. Did Chase know about the Guilds? Honestly, he... didn't know. Did Chase know about the Guilds?
"That's... a good question," He trailed off, shaking his head. "I honestly don't know if he knows about them or not, to tell the truth. I'll have to ask him about it later. He may want to join." He added, Trinell smirking.
"Yeah, after he finds out you're crazy bum is in it." She smirked, turning to Amber. "Don't you agree, Amber? That boy Chase, sweetheart that he is, just adores Djakael here." She said, highly amused by the deep blush on Djakael's cheeks.

Alex's features took on a look of horror. "Passed out?! What did you do to him, Djakael?! Hit him over the head with something? Or did you flash a smile at him and stunned him with your dazzling teeth?" He raised one eyebrow sardonically.
He waited as Trinell's urge to fight got the better of her and she went after the other with a fierce attack. The two sparring teens exchanged a few words during, and he caught some of it.
"Chase doesn't know about the guilds, you think. Don't mention that you're a Thief until you're sure he's not an Assassin. We have to be careful about anyone we don't know well enough to the point that you could follow their footsteps with eyes closed."
Alex stiffled a yawn with the back of his hand, stretching out on the couch. Hmm...it wasn't that late, but he was already tired. He whined quietly at the notion of going back home to face his mom and step-dad. Maybe he'd find somewhere else to sleep tonight. Or sneak in upstairs. The leader closed his eyes with a sigh. could already see the Step demanding why Alex had climbed in through the window at midnight.
